I am wondering can a Bard Archaeologist at 4th level take the Rogue's Talent Bomber even though he doesn't have sneak attack.
He can but it would deal no damage until he gets some sneak attack.
I am wondering can a Bard Archaeologist at 4th level take the Rogue's Talent Bomber even though he doesn't have sneak attack.
Deal no damage till he has sneak attack, but he can use it with other bomb effects (other taking extra rogue talent feat and getting bomb discovery).
Examples:Smoke Bomb
Blinding Bomb
Confusion
Cursed
Dispelling
Ectoplasmic will outline stuff (but no damage without sneak attack)
Fire Brand will light your weapon like a Flaming weapon (which is cool because you can't otherwise deal damage right now)
Grease
Immolation bomb deals a set damage so it will still work. But won't deal any damage over time since you have none.
Inferno works.
Inspired bomb
Madness deals wisdom also not affected by how lower bomb damage is. So you'll deal 0 bomb + 1d4 wisdom
Plague: multiple contagion effects.
Poison: Cloudkill
Stink: Stinking Cloud
Void: Deals its unique amount of damage. Sop fear not that you normal deal none.
