1980s Poland had the best movie posters.
My mother actually saw Aliens in the cinema. *sigh*
Too bad about the whole military dictatorship thing going on at the same time.
While it was bad it was relatively mild military dictatorship. Especially when comparing to killing sprees of 1945-1956 Stalinist regime.

The Great Purge in the 1930s was also bad. Part of why the Allies were so leery of the Soviet Union, I think.

True. But Poland hadn't Stalinist regime at that time. So they did purge after war when they gained power while, in Soviet Union, after the war there were much less purges.

Warehouse work. Lots of standing in front of a rack and wondering where that damned box no. ABC1234567 went...

I hope that she has a nice partner for that.
Thanks.
I think that's what caught me off guard about the prom mention. She is growing up, and she'll be out of the house before I know it. It wasn't too bad when my son went to college, because he was such a homebody growing up, I was happy for him to move on with his life. He also goes to college nearby, while my daughter intends to go to school far away (not from us, per se, but definitely away from North Carolina).

It's a lovely dress, and she has a jacket to go with it.
The boots complete the outfit, though. :)

That moment when the father says "my little princess" and the mother smiles/laughs/giggles and pats the father on the back.

I bet she'll do well in life. And, I am sorry it is so close to her leaving home. They are always missed when they leave home... the quiet from their absence takes some adjustment.

Yes, as long as one want Diablo-clone action-rpg with cartoon graphic (made by some of the Diablo's designers) with minimalistic but good plot. I would advise looking through screenshots before buying it, though, because graphics might not be appealing to everyone.
I hope I will be able to get Torchlight 2 sometime in the future when I get some money in PayPal.

This is the game I'm currently playing. Graphics don't necessarily have to be that good ;)

goood uhm, midday FaWtL,
yesterday Marlon met a bunch of our friends and their children for the first time.
he, of course did not react much but the 3-5 year old girls where quite fascinated, even the 1 year old girl was facinated, looked a lot at him and even caressed his hand carefully
tonight he did not want to sleep at all, I went with him to the couch, he did not close his eyes while I watched 2 episodes of NCIS and one of Inspector Barnaby and Inspector Linley (sp?)
he fell to sleep at 5 in the morning :-/

I had BG and BG2 when they first came out, but I grabbed them the last time GOG had them on sale (and they're on sale again for $1.99 each). I installed them both, then ran the EasyTutu utility to upgrade the graphics and engine (including class & race options) on BG to BG2.

Sounds like he's got his days and nights a little mixed up. You have my sympathies.

Yesterday, I used the Best Buy gift card my wife and kids for St. Valentine's Day to buy The Jungle Book Diamond Edition and Jurassic Park. The boy and I watched Jungle Book. Later, once everyone was asleep but Katie, I watched X-Men First Class. Sadly, this kept me up past midnight.
I say sadly, because the boy then had me up at 0600.

I don't remember certain Badger mentioning that his daughter is not only growing an adult but also going to write for Christina Stills new book. Or maybe I missed it?
