How do you determine which card you randomly select from for the reward?

(1) Each player chooses either a Spell or Weapon.

(2) Gather all the available B and 1 cards of that type from your class deck. (Basically everything that isn't in your deck that has a B or a 1 in the upper right corner.)

(3) Randomly pick one of those cards.

(4) If you like the card picked, replace a card of the same type from your character's deck with the new card.

(5) Mark it down on your deck list.

oops ... that's if you're playing 0-1A using class decks.

If you're playing 0-1A using just the base set (and add-on deck), then instead of picking from your class deck, you grab all the B, C and 1 (and P) cards of the type you chose from the box (lots of cards) and randomly pick from those.

I thought that you HAD to play with a class deck. So you can't actually just play with base set and add on.

There's nothing stopping you from playing the scenarios with the normal game rules. They won't be for Guild character credit, but you can still play them for fun.

You can play the scenarios however you want so long as you aren't using officially reported characters.
