Enhance Weapons (Su): At 1st level, the spell warrior can grant a +1 enhancement bonus to the weapons (including ammunition) of allies within 60 feet. At 5th level and every 5 levels thereafter, this enhancement bonus increases by 1. The maximum bonus gained is based upon the number of weapons affected: +5 to one weapon, +4 to two weapons, +3 to three weapons, or +2 to four or more weapons. Fifty pieces of ammunition count as one weapon for this purpose.
Is the number of weapons affected per ally or the total affected by enhance weapons?
The ability does not seem to scale well if by level 20 all you are doing is giving your allies weapons a +2 bonus, which they should already have.
I don't really see how it is a fair trade for inspired rage.
I'm pretty sure it's total number of weapons, not weapons per person. It's not completely bad as it still can grant special qualities, and it also grants rage powers per the upcoming errata without the restriction on types of actions inspired rage normally applies.
I think it is weapons, not weapons per ally. However, as you advance in level, you shouldn't be needing to enhance every weapon in the party. Consider also that it is a level 1 ability, so has limitations like a level 1 ability.
Heh, its been a good bit of time since I originally made this thread and since then I have realized that the Spell Warriors ability, weapon song is possibly one of the best party buff abilities in the game.
If a Spell Warrior Skald takes both Master Performer and Grand Master Performer they SHOULD be able to give their entire party +4 weapons.
These two feats arguably allow the Skald to out buff the Bard.ESPECIALLY when you look at the fact that rage powers are added to Raging Song and should then qualify as "Bonuses provided by Bardic Music".
(I don't see this as something that will be universally assumed as valid)
