Vicious or holy for PFS lvl 10++?

Advice

Silver Crusade

Trying to decide on my next big purchase. I have the big 6, boots of speed and jingasa already. Now im trying to decide on which weapon enhancement to get.

On the surface vicious seems good as a flat 2d6 against anything and the 1d6 blowback damage I can just heal off with a Lay on hand. Cheaper too as a +1 enhancement price

Holy on the other hand holy is 2d6 only against evil creatures (which are often in pfs, but not always), and costs +2 enhancement.

Am i missing something or should i jist go with the holy?

Thanks again for any advice.

If you are a paladin, which I assume you are with lay on hands, vicious is probably the better choice. You don't need the holy to penetrate evil DR and you already wreck evil creatures with smite. Vicious is a good DPS boost that only suffers if you are relying on multipliers for your output (high crit or lance builds).

Otherwise, just increasing your weapon by +1 is always a solid option.

Does the 1d6 against me multiply on a crit also? I have improve crit katanas right now so its been happening more often.

no, neither part crits

I thought so. Great, now to make my shopping list before the next session. Thanks again
