Level limit of PFS and its application on archetypes

First, I'm a bit confused as to what level PFS maxes out at. Does it go up to level 11 in normal play, then you can play the Eyes of the Ten arc? (also, what level would that take you to)
Second, since that level limit is in place, can you take conflicting archetypes that only conflict past the maximum level of PFS?
i.e. The cavalier archetypes Daring Champion and Gendarme except on Supreme Charge, which is a level 20 ability. This character is in the PFS, and so will never reach level 20.

You can play sanctioned modules up to level 20.

1/5

Most PFS scenarios are written for levels 1-11. When the character becomes 12th level, there are only a limited number of retirement arcs and sanctioned AP's that can be played and these can only be played if the character starts at the right level.

Rules on archetype conflicts have not changed so you will still need to look at the archetypes from levels 1-20 to see if two can be taken at the same time.

3/5 RPG Superstar 2014 Top 16, RPG Superstar 2013 Top 16

Regular PFS scenarios only accommodate PCs up to level 11. So once you hit 12, you're done... except for sanctioned APs, modules, one of the multi-table specials, and the special PFS seeker arc, "Eyes of the Ten."

And no, the level cap doesn't allow you to take conflicting archetypes, even if you would never see the conflict.

Thanks guys!
Out of curiosity, is it possible to get your PFS char up to level 20?

It is. It requires you to use Scenarios and Modules to get to 19.2, and then play Race to the Runecarved Key to get to 20.

Can't you also use that reborn forge module as your retirement arc?

I believe that only takes you to 16th level.

Wardens of the Reborn Forge seeker arc option:

Seeker Arc Option
In addition to the legal ways to play described above,
Wardens of the Reborn Forge can be played as a special
challenge for Seeker characters—12th-level characters
with 33–35.5 XP. The PCs play through the entirety of
the module, observing all the rules of Pathfinder Society
Organized Play; however, the PCs earn the module’s
Chronicle sheets as they complete those parts of the
adventure. When the PCs complete the entire module,
they receive the fourth Chronicle sheet in addition to their
other rewards. This is the only way to receive this fourth
Chronicle sheet, though a GM who runs the entire module
and applies all three of the first Chronicle sheets to the
same character may also apply the fourth sheet to that
PC. If a PC receives credit for a different adventure before
completing Wardens of the Reborn Forge using this option,
he forfeits the opportunity to earn the fourth sheet.
