Eldritch scion with destined bloodline?

Advice

A lot of people have been saying that it's not a really viable class, but I think if you combine it with destined it can actually be pretty good. That, with that eldritch rage feat that gives you bloodrage for a few rounds per day can make a pretty decent strength magus. I think maybe you can even get blooded arcane strike to work this way. if you make the right build, what do you guys think? I've never done magus before so I've no idea. I know auto critical with a weapon is an awesome thing for a magus.

If you're starting at higher levels, it's decent enough. If you start at 8th, you avoid the most crippling weakness of the class, get Medium Armor... not so bad. You're still probably strictly worse than a baseline Magus, a Hexcrafter, or a Kensai, but you have some tricks and are a solid tank.

If you're starting from level one, you get the joys of paying to use your most useful core class ability, and the single most glaring ability that makes the Magus better than, say, Inspired Blade 1/Scryer Wizard 1/EK 10. Paying for it also means that you don't have nearly as many points to spend on the other half of what makes the Magus better than the EK, their rather awesome Arcana list.

Basically: starting at high(er) levels, have fun. Starting at low levels, sucks.
