I have a halfling dervish dancer who dresses like he's from Qadira (stereotypical Arabian), and I need a mini for him. Basically, I'm looking for this guy without the shield, but half sized since my PC is a halfling.
Anyone know of any minis that look like that?

Not quite what I had in mind, but thanks for the suggestion. What is that in his hand? I tried googling for bigger pictures, but I still can't figure it out.
I did find this one while googling bigger pictures of that one, though. I like the one handed scimitar approach, but I want my character to wear more clothing. I'm thinking maybe I could just add my own clothing to that shirtless barbarian mini.

As is often the case for Small characters, I recommend looking at 15mm human minis, which are about the same size as a 28mm halfling mini. By doing a search for "15mm Arab" I got this guy's page, who does a summary of various 15mm manufacturers, and a thread on TheMiniatures page called best 15mm Arabs. I hope that helps! :)

It is essentially a boomerang. Of course if that is the only problem, you could always cut it off without too much trouble. I think there is also a scimitar in a sheath at the figs waist.

Ahh, thanks. I didn't know what the standard sizes were, so knowing what size to look for in human minis to use as halflings is very useful.
