In regards to the original posting, the complaint I get more than any other from local players is "guns? In FANTASY?" sort of scoffing and derision towards it.

A lot of the playerbase doesn't like guns conceptually, so I do absolutely support their use being more rare to support the notion that guns are in their infancy and mainly just an export from a single region.

As for the two boons - I say leave it. I honestly barely noticed until I read over this thread and re-read the sheet.

Please dont change the chronicles.
If you must, please adjust the ones that arent as desirable.

There has to be a reason to make choices. The rewards at the end arent the justification, there what you get for doing what you do.

For those that didnt get what they wanted. GM. Get your first star and use it to replay this delightful special.

I hope that going forward you keep making exciting boons gor the special, and please, dont make rash decisions based on a small echo chamber oc five to ten loud forum voices.

In the words of thr Ghostcrawler. Its hard to be a developer if you let yhe noose overtake the signal, and the signal was that the sheet was awesome, and yes sometimes people miss out, but this was far and beyond anything handed out at a special ever.

Please change the chronicle to reflect the guiding mantra of the Pathfinder Society, namely: "Explore, Report, Cooperate"

There needs to be a community-building feel from Specials, not a PvP-Lite passive-aggressive favoritism that encourages 'chronicle-fishing' and 'mandatory option paths'.

For those who don't do the particular arc in question, if another team covers the difference, then that other team's members may benefit from teamwork on something THEY didn't reach.

I hope going forward that the community continues to be built, and that the careful consideration of ALL members of the community, including those who volunteer their time in lieu of GMing to make these amazing Specials work.

Again, not seeking a chronicle, but rather understanding that volunteers are working to make the Special go, and 'just GM a slot' is not a valid answer to when they do eventually get to play the scenario.

May wisdom and understanding help balance the needs of the campaign and the community, that the community as a whole emerges stronger and healthier for the experience.
