Want to make sure we are playing this spell right:
Cast charm animal:
1. Grab random animal ally from box.
2. If your character has divine/arcane skill bury charm animal, by next scenario you can use charm animal again to pick up a another random animal ally.
3. If your character doesnt have divine/arcane - banish the spell and that's it.

Yup. Works like Charm Person from RotR, but with Animals instead of Humans. There are a few ways to "unbury" cards, but they are not very often. That means it is usually only played once per scenario. But if you have arcane/divine you can bury it to play again the next scenario.
If nothing else, it often turns a spell into an ally, thus giving you more explorations. And occasionally your random ally is awesome.

Yeah we kind of like the fact that an extra ally usually means an extra explore, someone in our party is keeping the spell for now, but I think eventually we are going to find something more essential to replace it.
I love this card in organized play alot as it almost guarantees an ally upgrade. I say almost cuz you may end up banishing that ally for some reason down the line, :)
Another advantage of using it in OP is you aren't using the really good allies in the box already, so there's a better chance you get a good one when you charm (Stupid Coral Capuchin, we've gotten him WAY too much)
