Has anyone taken a look at:
The Zuishin at 7th-level has range fired Breath of Life and the Toshigami at 9th has Time Stop among many deadly effects.
These seem like fantastic summons for the SNA lists, and really the Toshigami seems to be the best summon possible for either list.
What do others think?
I'd rather be casting time stop myself for a 9th level spell. What is the toshigami going to do during the time stop? Frankly beside running away with tree stride, I don't see what is the use of it. Remember the Toshigami would be the only one acting during that time stop.
Treestride is out, as it's a teleportation effect from a summon.
Much better on myself, but amazing for a summon anyway.
My first thoughts were:
1.) Use any number of powerful expendable items provided to her by the party.
2.) Stop a TPK or party member death via movement or healing.
3.) Stuff bodies into a bag of holding for a retreat.
4.) Saunter over to the BBEG to deliver a flurry of draining beatdowns.
The chassis is 20HD and the CL is 20; that's a lot of power for a summon anything 9.
