1 person marked this as a favorite.

The launch of PACG OP in Edmonton went -- dare I say it? -- swimmingly! The "On the Horizon" scenario offered the players a nice mix of decisive victories and "wah-wahhn" moments; plenty of checks were missed by exactly 1, and there was one incidence of "You've got this on anything but snake-eyes" -- you can guess what happened next. But the stalwart crew rallied to pull off a final-turn win! Thrilling!

More maritime adventure awaits -- and we're always happy to press gang take on more crew!

Day and Time: Wednesdays at 7 p.m.
Location: The Adventurer's Guild (15211 Stony Plain Road)

For more information (and especially if you're interested in a demo session), please contact pacg.edm@gmail.com.

Good luck to all Card Guild crews out there, whatever port you call home!

There were more than a few groans and invectives tossed around when those snake-eyes were rolled. I was surprised how much this scenario came right down to the wire.

It's been almost a month, and I still chuckle about the moment when Alahazra, the blind, sagely Oracle, grabbed a belaying pin and pounded a constrictor snake into paste with it.
