Kaboom! Preferably the kind with the free handgun inside.

I know, the reference is certainly not from a kids show, but it always comes to mind when discussing sugar coated cereal. Damn you Tarentino!

Y'all are lucky my mother wouldn't buy anything but Grapenuts and crackling oat bran.....

I like Grapenuts. Heat them in the microwave with milk and butter and it's a good, filling warm breakfast for a cold morning.

I would take Coco Pebbles and pour chocolate milk on them. Then I'd be humming like a generator for the next couple of hours.

When I was a kid, I used to see a streak of energy passing through my neighborhood on infrequent Saturday mornings. Was that you?

Whenever we want.

It's what we dreamed of as kids.

I still have the frosted flakes.

Shame the footie pajamas don't fit anymore.

Pajama City

... those are some very large sizes.

Never really cared much for grapenuts anyway you prepare them. I did love me some malt-o-meal though with butter and a pinch of brown sugar.

Warm Grapenuts with milk and your sweetener of choice are awesome.

When I was little, my mom resisted getting Cocoa Pebbles, so I would take Rice Krispies and pour chocolate milk on them to recreate the experience.

I did try coco pebbles a few times and maybe I'm weird but I thought rice crispies were much better. Perhaps my mother ruined me and I cant have sweet with my breakfast. Pop tarts are fricken gross.

I loved The Herculoids.

I wanted to have a goopy glowy shape shifty Gleep and Gloop of my very own.

And yeah, jemstone, I remember Galtar... that golden lance of his was pretty cool....

Man, he could teleport with that thing. He could make energy bridges. As super weapons on saturday morning cartoons go, what he could do (and couldn't do) was actually really consistent. Unlike, say, the D&D cartoon, where abilities the magic weapons had in one episode never showed up again and were replaced by others the very next week... ;)

It's funny how the Wiki entry for Herculoids mentions that Zandor's reasons for wanting to keep Amzot free from technology was never really articulated, when to me as a kid it was always abundantly clear that he was trying to keep the planet in its natural state because none of the other planets in the Galaxy were, any more. The technologist villains of Herculoids were spiritually the same as the Techno-Wizards of Thundarr The Barbarian - they wanted tech and power above all else, and would destroy the natural world to get it. Amzot was the last natural world. As a kid that was perfectly clear to me.

Zamdor was no technological slouch either, if he had to, he could operate ray cannons and fly a captured spacecraft. If I remember correctly he actually seized a ship in one episode and it was used in a later one, when Zamdor had to chase some baddies offplanet.
