character thought ,,,,need help with it

I am going to be playing in a PFS games and leveling up as normal with a group of friends. They all have melee and magic fairly covered up and we need fluff chatracters some .. . I am not one to play paladins alot so .... my thought is to go as a oracle(enlightened Philospher archtytpe) with side step secret and lore revelation .. then ninja (scout archtype)so i can charge later levels and do sneak attack etc . I will have tons of skills it seems and be useful as a knowledge monkey and trap spotter .. I know i wont ever do much dmg wise but at later levels i could at least do a fair amount if needed .Questions to the masses are is this doable in a PFS setting because you never know group make-up .. Are their any feats or other things i may want to look at ? I was thinking of takign noble scion of war to make the char really run off of charisma but I feel i will be feat challenged as it is . Any ideas would be welcomed thanks . I appreciate any advice

I group PFS into 5 needs...damage, arcane magic, divine magic, social, and knowledges. A character should do 2 of these really well.

Trapspotting is great, but not a necessity. Later level ninja may not be enough oommpf damage-wise...

How about Paladin/Oracle instead of ninja/oracle? A bookish Paladin could be an interesting RP experience.
How about Bard if the divine magic is already covered? Bards, are well...bards. No party turns one away.

I took your advice but instead of goign paladin I went fighter for extra feats so i can get derish dance feat and as a follower of serenrae it fits well . The enlightened Philospher still works well with it knowlesdge wise but took flames mystery. Took noble scion of war as well so the char can be based on chr and dex mostly . I took free hand fighter archtype as the fighter so I can get a few levels to help dmg though i will never do a ton of dmg . I can be very useful however as i get healing spells as a oracle and a few fire based dmg spells from fame mastery . All in all it worked fairly well the first game i played last night. any more suggestions Id love to hear them .. thanks

Dawnflower dervish bard....gets dervish dance as a bonus feat. You can be a face for the group with you cha. You will have skills. You must worship the dawnflower which you do. Its basically what you was wanting.
