1) there are weeks of contribution on Alpha forum
2) I am finally up on Alpha. thanks Jazz.. and Drake ,,,. Spent Sunday looking at the online -- 4 hours.
been ignoring what is happening here.

Ask for Alpha. I think there will be enough for all on forum by Friday.

Yeah, seriously. If you haven't gotten the chance to try the game out yet (You don't even need to have bought ANYTHING) Alpha 8 is later this week and I know a TON of people have invites, as in plural invites, even the second and 3rd wave Alpha invited players.

Sorry, I do not understand. If you get alpha, you may need some help. Drake was very helpful. I think he is KotC and I thank Kot of help.

I would love an Alpha invite if possible!

I believe Lam's point is that more and more of the interesting forum discussion is happening at the Alpha forums and correspondingly less happens here.

I agree with Carbon: if you are interested in following the game closely at this stage, why not give it a free spin. (Just beware it is alpha and subject to large improvements in the next few months).

PM'ing anyone active in a major guild is likely to give you a free invite, since GW is now reaching the stage of alpha where they want to test what happens when you fill the game with players...

The main reason for that, is because we wanted to keep the feedback from people actually playing the game at this time. Once we open EE, those levels will have permission to the forums as well. Eventually there will be 1 section open to the general public, but the actual "forums" will be for players only.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Right now, I still prefer this message board for its greater functionality (especially the search feature). I'm glad GW staffers are still paying attention to both.

I've given up on that - I ran that little game far too late, the glut of available invites is too big to allow any real incentive :( Such a shame, it would have been fun.

Separation is a good plan. One or two bored and disgruntled players complaining about how the game sux as there are no dragons yet or whatever is very off putting to people researching a game to see if they want to invest the time and money into playing.

What are the plans for the Paizo forum when the Goblinworks public forum opens? Are you going to just have both or would you close this one down and have it redirect over to Goblinworks?
