Hey there, ho there, hi there all!
I know that alot of what goes down around here involves play-by-post games, but perhaps a few of you would be willing to join me for a slightly different kind of fare - a weekly Roll20 game!
After unsuccessfuly pitching Frog God Games' delicious mega-adventure "The Slumbering Tsar Saga" to my home group multiple times, I've come to realize that such a campaign simply isn't to their tastes, and am hoping to find some folks here online who can fill the void in my cold, black GM heart.
In case you haven't heard of the title, the critically aclaimed Slumbering Tsar Saga is an epic, sandboxy adventure that has PCs exploring a desolate wasteland to uncover the secrets of a lost fortress abandonned by the demon prince of undeath. This is a VERY deadly but VERY rewarding adventure, which my paltry summary really can't do justice to.
Slumbering Tsar does call for 7th level PCs however, so the party would be wetting their feet in another FGG product, Stoneheart Valley, a collection of 3 adventures (Wizard's Amulet, Crucible of Freya, Tomb of Abysthor) which the author of Slumbering Tsar actually ran his group through in his playtest.
Ideally, I'd like to find a group of 6 heroes available for an evening/night once a week. The day which would work best for me would be Tuesday (I'm in the Central Timezone of the US, by the way) but I'm not averse to moving things around if the player demand is high enough.
I'll be happy to answer any questions you might have, and in the mean time I'll be crossing my fingers hoping for some interest!

Im interested. Ive never done roll 20 before but Ive been playing weekly games on maptool for several years. Tue, Wed, or Thur evening/nights best for me. Say anytine between 8 PM - 1 AM, eastern time zone here. Any onther requirements such as skype for voice? Since this is a 3rd party AP will you be including 3rd party material for character creation? Im not really familar with anything outside of paizo (and of course wizards).

I would love to join this. Tuesday is usually good for me at a 90% ratio (at least) at the moment. I do have a few questions.
1- Would the campaign include PC downtime for crafting purposes or other such things?
2- Are there any limitations such as no Synthesis summoners (not planning on making one, just an example) or GM approval for feats outside of core?
3- What would be the character creation rules. PB? How many points? Roll? With the d20 generator?
Hopefully we'll find enough interested players

Hurrah! Glad to see such interest in such short time.
Any onther requirements such as skype for voice?
I believe Roll20 has built in voice and video chat, but I've never actually used that part of the program, so I'm not sure how the quality holds up. What I can say for sure however is that we will be using some kind of voice program be it Roll20, Skype, or whatever.
1- Would the campaign include PC downtime for crafting purposes or other such things?
Yep! PCs will have lots of freedom and for the most part these adventures aren't really on a time limit, so downtime activities would of course be allowed, but by no means required.
2- Are there any limitations such as no Synthesis summoners (not planning on making one, just an example) or GM approval for feats outside of core?
Since this is a 3rd party AP will you be including 3rd party material for character creation?
I'd prefer not to limit any options but rather trust the players to make fun, competent (or incompetent) characters without getting wildly imbalanced. 3rd party is another matter, and a discussion I'd rather sort out with input from a full group of players, so I'll keep my lips sealed on that front.
3- What would be the character creation rules. PB? How many points? Roll? With the d20 generator?
I haven't completely decided this yet, as once again I'd like some player input. I can say for sure that I'll be leaning towards methods that produce higher power PCs rather than lower power ones.

As a general rule, I'm a fan of 20-25 pb over rolling stats, but I understand some people really do like leaving their stats to chance.
As far as classes and stuff, I've been trying to play a Skald or an Oradin recently, and I am on an Aasimar/Tiefling kick at the moment. As long as that sounds reasonable, I'm not likely to go too crazy with my ideas. :)

I was actually considering setting it in the semi-unofficial, very-vaguely-defined Frog God Games setting - the Lost Lands. Between those two adventure books and Bard's Gate (another FGG product we'll be making a bit of use of) there's actually a decent amount of information on the gods of Stoneheart Valley. I figured these gods would be the easiest to use especially since some of their temples and clergy are prominently featured in some of these adventures.
The rest of the world is completely undefined, however. If players wanted to make 'foreign' characters, then they could simply cannibalize their homeland/deities from other campaign settings or even invent their own!
That being said, if the players all demand some specific campaign setting, then of course they shall have it. As a side note I did consider setting Slumbering Tsar in Ravenloft for a short time, but that would be far too much evil for one party to handle!

Blast! I must have displeased Orcus at some point because I've just realized that I have a previous, ongoing Tuesday night commitment starting up tomorrow! Tuesdays are no longer an option.
I really hate to have to switch everything up - but Tuesdays are completely off the table. What are thoughts on a different week night, Monday or Wednesday perhaps?

1: I hope this game makes, and I hope all of y'all get a chance to enjoy Stoneheart et al.
2:Regretfully I would be unable to play in this because -
3: We have a game of Lost City of Barakus which is ongoing, and I am our temp-GM for.
4: Barakas group needs a cleric, if any of you who cannot make it into this Roll20 game are interested.
Good luck and Good Gaming Orcus' Butler! This Tsar campaign should be fun for you and your group!

If you have a spot, I've been looking for a chance to actually play a game (I'm a full-time DM), and considered running Slumbering Tsar myself.
So like, if you've actually vetted the players and got a solid group working together, I'd be down to play on either Monday or Wednesday. Hit me up on Skype: Askren-

Are you like, just taking whoever replies, or is there some sort of group discussion and/or process for screening or anything? Also how are you doing setting discussion and character building, are people just going to show up with character sheets and hope it works out? This is stuff I like to work out up front.

Edit: Kakkarottoz snuck in, but yes he is entirely correct.
If I had gotten a huge influx of people who were all available and willing to play a weekly game during this specific time, then sure I might do some screening but I'd rather just get a group of interested players together and into the game sooner rather than later. If you're worried about this lack of screening resulting in a problematic player or two slipping in, I'd like to make it clear that I have no reservations about booting any players who are both killing the fun for others and flatly refuse to change their ways. Of course, hopefully we'll never come anywhere near that kind of situation!
All character creation and setting discussion will all be handled during our first session (something I forgot to mention). I'd like to make things like ability score generation and party composition and whatnot more of a group dialogue, which will be much easier through voice chat rather than forum.
Hope that helps.
