The party has rallied allies to defend the city.
I aim to have the hostile NPCs head to location X in smaller groups.
Defending forces would hence devide themselves too.
Since mass combat rules aren't effective here, i have posted alot of rounds of both sides in such skirmishes, adjusting every time one on either side dies. Good old Excell and preview. Works, but consumes time.
So the question is: is there a more effective way/formulae to decide such an outcome over spending 10-15 mins on a 5vs5 skirmish? The two sides are same in AC, save for the hostiles +1 to attack and dmg
