I'm looking for advice, I'm going to run for a group of Pirate/Privateer PC, we are going to be using the sanctioned parts of the Skulls and Shackles AP...

I need help filling in the blanks...

1.1 - The Confirmation
1.2 - ?
1.3 - ?
2.3 - Wormwood Mutiny
3.+ - ?

Any suggestions?

What have they already played? #38: No Plunder, No Pay seems like it would fit.

Personally, I'd just run the AP as-is in campaign mode. Picking out only the sanctioned sections and missing out on the rest of the story seems like it would deliver a less satisfying play experience.

They are wanting to play through using PFS characters... and weren't to big on the apply sheet to character option of Campaign mode...

#No Plunder, No Pay... that would be season Zero, correct?

Silver Crusade 5/5

You can add Murder on the Throaty Mermaid and Hydra's Fang Incident they both take place on a boat, at least in part.

Thanks Mitch,

Hydra's Fang looks perfect for the group... mostly Andoran Privateers...

So far, looks like...

Tier 1-5
<1-2> #5-08: The Confirmation (default first)

<1-2, 4-5>
#2-13: Murder on the throaty Mermaid
#2: The Hydra's Fang Incident

<2-4> The Wormwood Mutiny

Tier 7-11
#38: No Plunder, No Pay

Perils of the Pirate Pact (0-17 I think?) has some good river piracy in it...Severing Ties (4-07) and You Have What you Hold (5-06) are also sort of thematically appropriate. Maybe Glass River Rescue (5-01) as well, in a way.

Silver Crusade 5/5

I would second all of Mike's choices, but be warned that Severing Ties can be pretty brutal on parties. But it is a really fun scenario that has some pretty good RP potential as well as interesting combats, so it's probably worth it.

Although the tier for the WWM is 2-3, it really shouldn't be attempted by a party of level-2 only, unless you've got like 6 people and good system mastery. As written, it is HARD. Richard Pett is well known as an author of 'meatgrinder' adventures.

Thanks for the advice...
