hello everyone. I made a character for a RoTR campaign my plan was to take vivisectionist alchemist and then grab assassin for the death attack but now I have done some more looking at the assassin and don't think it is worth taking now. Ok so new plan, focus on the feral mutagen and sneak attack. I am first level and here is the build.
Gnome alchemist (vivisectionist)
Str:12
Dex:16
Con:14
Int:16
Wis:8
Cha:12
Feats:
Martial weapon proficiency rapier
Throw anything
Brew potion
Traits:
Anatomist
naturally gifted
I would also like to use poisons. And I was thinking of taking the Master Chymist but is it worth taking all ten levels also is there another class worth taking.

I'm guessing from your stats that you're not going for full optimization. Maybe I would have gone with Str: 13 and Cha:10, then you can put your 4th level ability score in Str to get 14.
I wouldn't take all ten levels of Master Chymist, one to three is good enough.
And I wouldn't take Martial Weapon Proficiency to get a Rapier. Pick up a Great Sword or something.

I'd take Weapon Finesse as your first feat and stick with a dagger for the moment. The difference between d3 and d4 base damage isn't worth spending a feat, especially if you're planning to focus on natural attacks. As soon as you can afford it, pick up an amulet of mighty fists (agile) and focus on boosting Dexterity as high as possible.
You might also want to consider the beastmorph archetype - it's fully compatible with vivisectionist, and eventually grants you the pounce ability as well as whatever movement mode you feel like using at the moment.
