I have just returned from my first PazioCon UK convention. I have to say Rob, Dave and the team, (sorry to not name you all) did an absolutely fantastic job. This was my first serious convention since the UK GenCon of 2000 and surpassed all my expectations.
I would like to thank all the GMs and players at the event for making a newbie more than welcome. Expect to find me back next year.

Hey Nicoleye, I had the pleasure of GMing for you in one of the games. Glad you had a great time, I know I did too!

Really glad to hear that you enjoyed it and that you'll be coming back. I am very proud of the team we have. Chris, Pete and (for the last time) Tonya.

Yes many thanks Tom, you set us all at ease in that first session. I hope we get the chance to Play together again.

Dave, I hope to get more practice at playing Pathfinder in the next 12 to 18 months. The last Con I attended before this (Manchester Gencon of 2000), I finally Gmed not just D&D but Alternity. I remember siting on the Plazza talking with Gary Gygax He was still so enthusiastic about what was happening, he had come to help promote D&D 3rd edition. I suppose that really was the true start of Pathfinder as well as 3rd edition was launched that weekend.

Pazio has improved and expanded the game but its you guys who have made it what it is here in the UK. I hope I can increase my involvement as I learn the system so time permitting I can give support where you need it.

The Exchange

You are very welcome and there are plenty of conventions where Pathfinder Society is being run. We'd really like to get more going too so your enthusiasm, experience and support is greatly appreciated.

Ah! Bummer! I moved to the UK in March and didn't think they were still having PaizoCon in the UK. Is there PaizoCon going on next year? I think it would be useful to look into holding it at the HIC in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. There is a big convention center and hotel in that city and would probably make for a good convention.

I hope everyone had fun this year! Looking forward to next year. It was nice living near Seattle the past 8 years, and it's nice to see Paizo come to the UK for events as well.

Cheers!

We've been running PaizoCon UK for 6 years now. We are looking around for other venues at present so I will certainly try to check it out. But Birmingham has been a very good location for us so far.

It would certainly be great to see you next year. And maybe we'll even get a chance to meet at a convention before then.

I second Warrant in having PaizoCon UK in Harrogate. The convention center is a great place to hold it and a group of us would love to come and join in.
