Next week I'll be moving to a new country (and continent) so my life is going to become an uncontrollable mess. I will try to post as often as I can as this serves as a nice outlet but I may not be able to keep the pace of the action. Feel free to use Jaed's abilities the best way you can think of.

I apologize for being absent for a while. I had to force-disconnect myself from the internet for a while and it made doing play-by-post games difficult.
However, that is part of the reason for this post. I've realized that I've been putting way too much time into play by posts, and have signed into WAY too many games for me to reasonably handle with my current workload and changes to my life situation. I needed to cut down the number of games I am in, and this one is one of them. I am sorry. I was having fun, but these games were getting to be one of my causes of stress, and that was what tipped things for me. Thank you for the opportunity to play with you all, and I am sorry for the inconvenience.

I'll bot Sato until there's a good time to have him run off to do his own thing. This means that at least for the rest of the in-game night, you'll still have access to his various charm abilities.
In other news, for those of you unaware, there seems to be an issue with update notifications. Hopefully it'll be fixed by tomorrow, but I'm guessing it's messing with everybody's ability to see what games have updated.

Notification updates seem to be working again, so hopefully the rest of the party notices and posts actions. Normally I'd just bot them, but I'm honestly kind of uncomfortable doing that for half the players, especially when I know paizo's website has been having issues.

Yes, that studded leather will be very useful for Jaed. Not only because of the +1 but mainly for the lack of armor check penalty.
I can write down the money to divide at the end of the adventure but we probably cannot carry all the rest of the gear. Jaed is already carrying a potion of CLW and a potion of invisibility from the last adventure. He could get an extra one but I don't know if any of you would need them more.

Are the studs made of metal? Because if they aren't Finnrick would look right dashing in some new armor.
Finnrick will be taking 1 mwk rapier, 2 sunrods and a smoke stick. I could use another CLW pot for Millsy, but for now she is just going to stay in the back. It looks like Lilly could use one as well.

The studs are metal, but the text for the special material suggests that studded leather armor is mostly leather, so I'd say a druid could still wear it.

Haven't heard from Artair or Etam for a while. I'm going to send them both a PM, but it doesn't appear like they've posted elsewhere in a while either.
Any opinions on what to do if they've both disappeared? I can continue to bot them all, though that feels a little awkward since it would mean I'm controlling half the party. Or I could write them out and scale everything down for 3 players. Alternatively, I could try to recruit some new players. My one hesitation with that though is that I'm going on vacation for two weeks starting May 24th, and it'd be a shame to recruit new people only to have them disappear while I'm gone and have to do the process all over again (I've seen it happen, though admittedly the absence in question wasn't pre-declared).

Well, I'm ok with any option. It's true that the DM controlling half of the party will probably be weird but it may be easier for you. So, whatever you think is better and it's not going to give you too much extra work. If there is a hiatus in the story that matches your vacation start we could stop there and do the recruiting after that, maybe?
By the way, thank you for the hard work to keep the game running :)

My feelings mirror Jaed's. If we need to pause and reconvene later, we might as well recruit replacements then.
We might hit a natural pause point if we go report in and then we get reinforcements and go back to finish off the temple - though that would be difficult since they'd be on alert and it would be less stealth, more fighting all the cultists!

I'm terribly sorry and feel very ashamed about the silence. I think it's very disrespectful on my part to simply disappear without warning, so you have my deepest apologies.
The reason for me falling off the map is that I'm on the last stretch of my thesis, so basically all my waking moments are dedicated to that.
I'm unsure on what to do, to be honest: things will only get worse until I am finished (around the end of june). At the same time, I agree it is weird to have the DM botting Eram for such a long stretch of time (besides, it might give them more work than they might have signed up for and distract them from all the other things a DM needs to keep track of). Perhaps the cleanest (and saddest) solution is indeed for you to open recruitment. Then, after the thesis, I'll keep my eyes open in case you ever need someone else.

I'd say scaling encounters is slightly easier than running a bunch of botted players and also less awkward. Depending on if there's someone you like to keep around in terms of helping round out encounters, I can send the 2-3 botted characters off to "get help". We see how far we get before my vacation, and when I get back I'll do a recruitment to be the help the botted characters went for (Note none of this excludes you from sneaking out yourselves to join them in getting help for yourselves). Thoughts? Would you want to keep one of the bots around or just scale everything to 3 people?
@Etam: Good luck with your thesis! Let us know when you're free again, and we can see how the party is doing in terms of size.

I would like to keep Etam around, I feel like we need him to tank as none of the rest of us really can. Plus I like Etam. Good luck on the thesis. I don't want it to be more work for you though Puppet Master. Perhaps one of us could control Etam. He's pretty straight forward in combat.

@All: As I mentioned earlier, I will be traveling/on vacation starting Wednesday May 24th through June 7th. On the 7th or 8th I will make a post in discussion basically saying, "Speak up if you're still around," so make sure to check back on those days (technically, you can do this even if I haven't posted just yet). If we have less than 4 people (or if people say they want to go back up to 6), I'll post a recruitment thread (probably on Sunday June 11th) to refresh our numbers. Recruitment would likely last a week.

In the process of getting a recruitment thread up. Will edit this post when done. Looks like we have 3 people still here, though Artair mentioned having issues. I'll give him a bit more time to check in, but I'll be trying to bolster the party back up to 6. I'll post a follow up to Jaed's latest in game post tomorrow, but if you want to wait until recruitment's done to respond, that's fine. In the meantime, go ahead and level all your characters to level 4.
Edit: Recruitment thread up. I told them we're looking for at least 1 frontliner but I left the other 1-2 slots open to whatever. Feel free to post on the thread with any info you think is relevant about your character, especially if you're worried about someone making a character too similar to yours. Recruitment will go on a week. Towards the end of that, I'll ask people to PM me any thoughts they have, and I'll try to take that into consideration. Just be aware that my personal bias is towards the fluff part of submissions because stats sheets start to look more or less the same to me after a while.

If you want me to provide you a stat block, I will (and you can make that easier by telling me what changed between lvl 3 and lvl 4, so I don't have to figure that out myself).

Also, Uthraed, in the recruitment thread we were told this:
"HP: Max 1st level. Future levels are rolled or half HD + 1 if that's higher"
