I'm feeling quite bloated this morning. Might be the beer from last night.
But my rotisserie beef roast came out very nice. Also had some oven-roasted corn to go along with it.
My main three goals for this week:
(1)Birthday card and/or gift of some sort for my mother.
(2)Get my paperwork for the PE Exam signed and off in the mail.
(3)Find out what the f!%% is wrong with my Trailblazer and get it f#$!ing fixed.
Well s#!% in a bag and punch it. He's back.

I heard that was an awesome movie.
Yes. Yes it is. It's one of my must owns. And I usually watch it at least once a year.
Still, I was inspired to create two new aliases from that idiotic s%%+. So I guess there is some bit of appreciation to be had. It had been a long time....
I hate Massachusetts. Why the f$&k does my entire family et al have to live here? Tied to this stinking, overpriced, hackarama, faux socialist, scum pile.
*grumble*
Convince them all to move someplace saner?
Anyway, time to go plot some big ass drawings. P&IDs, actually. Process & Instrumentation Diagrams.

As someone who has been on both sides, always check the contractors work before you pay them.

If it were Texas, it would be described as "Hot as the hinges on the gates of hell realm of awesomeness where everything's bigger".
We do have socialists, but don't give them too much authority, except for the People's Republic of Austin. They might not actually be part of Texas anymore.....
Woot! Trailblazer is fixed! The idler pulley bearings were almost gone. I probably got it to the service station just in time. And I got an oil change (something I should really start doing at home).
And all for just over $200. Not bad.
My father-in-law stopped by last night, on his way back to New Orleans from business in San Antonio. He stayed overnight. The kids loved seeing their "Grumpy". And we even got him to read baby girl her bedtime stories.
Dinner was bacon-wrapped beef fillets and grilled sweet corn.
It's pretty cool when a guy I don't particularly like gives me a reason to be more kindly predisposed towards him by making a Star Trek reference in regard to a bolt coating issue.
And he followed up with an email clarification to his Ferengi comment. Sweet!
A wise man can hear profit in the wind.
Watch a good portion of the Rise of the Guardians movie last night. Very interesting.
Theoretically, I should get my Dungeons Deep and Gargantuan Red Dragon today. Per the email tracking, they are both out for delivery.
Necessity is the mother of invention. Profit is the father.

a greeting from my Dwarfling
Another day, another shift. I'm hoping I can get some reconstruction done on some PbP notes I lost during my scramble to pack.
Aw, WTF!!! I thought they banned that a!*~&&~!
In more enjoyable news - I got my minis! I got my minis! It was a lot of fun opening all those boxes.

Well I was thumbin' from Montgomery had my guitar on my back
When a stranger stopped beside me in an antique Cadillac
Now he was dressed like 1950, half drunk and hollow-eyed
Said, "It's a long walk to Nashville, would you like a ride, son?"
Well I sat down in the front seat and turned on the radio
And them sad old songs comin' out of them
Speakers was solid country gold
Then I noticed the stranger was
Ghost-white pale when he asked me for a light
And I knew there was something strange about this ride
He said, "Drifter can ya make folks cry when you play and sing?
Have you paid your dues, can you moan the blues?
Can you bend them, guitar strings?"
He said, "Boy can you make folks feel what you feel inside?
'Cause if you're big star bound let me warn ya, it's a long, hard ride"
Then he cried just south of Nashville and he turned that car around
He said, "This is where you get off boy I'm goin' back to Alabam"
As I stepped out of that Cadillac I said, "Mr., many thanks"
He said, "You don't have to call me Mr., Mr.
The whole world called me Hank
He said, "Drifter can ya make folks cry when you play and sing?
Have you paid your dues, can you moan the blues?
Can you bend them, guitar strings?"
He said, "Boy can you make folks feel what you feel inside?
'Cause if you're big star bound let me warn ya, it's a long, hard ride"

I sense something.....A presence I've not felt since.....
....Since the last time the toilet backed up in my house.
Here's a pretty kick-ass Youtube video of an expanding round table.
I think it only costs about $50K.
I think it involves a body or two stuffed in a storage unit.
Ye gods! Too much obnoxiousness. Time to stay away from Facebook for a decade or three. Freehold will be pleased.
Also bought a new storage system for my minis. Large plastic containers with a carrying handle, each of which holds 12 smaller plastic containers (intended for photo storage, I think). Also bought some mid-size plastic containers, one of which could fit in a larger case with two of the smallest ones, which will hold my large and (hopefully) huge minis.

And, yes, I peek in every now and then.

Go on....

Go on.... That thing....the one with the rainbows. Like I said...obnoxious. And coming from me, that's bad.
And....of course.....some a%&+%!& has started that s#%$ here in the off topic section. And it'll stay because....tolerance. As long as you think properly.
But......enough of that crap. It's a bright, sunshiny day. There's at least two cups of coffee with my name on them. And I've got.....stuff.....to do.
Also, sorry Freehold, but I will be going into FB soonish. I want to post some pictures of my new storage for minis. It's a work in progress.
It always saddens me when the powers that be refuse to try and fix a problem, simply because the people causing the problem are ones the powers that be agree with.
