Pyrta has control of metal, as explained in season 1. Ruby just has enough superspeed to create a shockwave.

In any discussion on creating RWBY characters, I have been steadfast in one thing: Weiss is a Kensai Magus. She uses what is totally Bladed Dash in the White trailer, and (although she would have to get it with Spell Blending) has Telekinetic Charge.

Obviously, Pyrrha Nikos has taken the Telekinetic Weaponmaster Prestige class, and I like Psychic Warrior (Assassin or Weaponmaster Path) 6/War Mind 5 for Ruby herself. Sweeping Strike Scythe ahoy! And your HP (aside from like a single digit number) is the characters aura. Now you know why people can fight at only 15 hp remaining just fine!

Yeah, I would totally expect Ruby characters to operate off the Wounds and Vigor system.

Well, from episodes 7-8 of Volume 2, we know that she uses Dust embedded in her clothes as well as cylinders filled with glass powder; she throws glass powder into the air then uses the fire Dust in her clothes to melt it together into a projectile and launch it, as well as straight fire shots, and can reinforce her Aura barrier with the fire Dust to block projectiles by burning them off. She also uses a pair of shortswords which connect to form a bow. However, Ruby stated that she didn't think that was (Cinder's) Semblance since, apparently, those are more unique to the individual and would have a greater chance of giving away her identity.

So she's still a big mystery as to her full capabilities but, given she was able to stand against Glynda even without her Semblance, we can presume she is, indeed, capable. Moreover, in v2:e5,

She says it isn't about overpowering the opponent, it's about taking away the power that they have. This might indicate that her Semblance has something to do with canceling the Semblance of someone else.

The ability to either absorb or negate another semblance would indeed make someone a lethal character..

Still Cinder seems like a very potent character, highly trained and powerful.

I would like to see more things explained about her.

Ahhhh, nice job on the ideas.

For my friends and I, since we don't have all the books YET, we're just making them for PFS.

Currently, I have only made Blake, Yang, and Ruby.

Ruby is going to be a Fighter/Gunslinger specializing in sweeping attacks and speed bursts. (IE: Mobility, Whirlwind Attack, Shot on the Run, Cleave, Run, Fleet)

Blake is going to be a Swashbuckler (Specializing in two weapon fighting), then a level in Gunslinger (Pistolero), and then a couple levels of Ninja for some of her abilities like Mirror Image and Vanishing Act.

Yang.....Yang I just really enjoy making. She's going to a Brawler (Specializing in fist combat/defense then legwork)/Bloodrager (Fire Elemental bloodline)

Weiss....I was thinking more Arcanist/Magus

My friend is making Ozpin as a Investigator/Swashbuckler/Gunslinger/Wizard.....Crazy I know. But once he showed me the idea, it's workable.

Team JNPR is gonna be a bit difficult. All we're making currently is Nora Valkyrie (Skald/Fighter) and Jaune Arc (Cavalier (Tactician Archetype)/Paladin)

Pyrrha will require fine tuning and Lie Ren....would be slightly difficult.

Yatsuhashi would be a Barbarian/Samurai
Coco is a Gunslinger...Maybe a couple levels of Brawler because damn that Handbag hurts.
Velvet is a Wizard/Summoner (What's in the box? Your death. that's what.)
And Fox is a Rogue (Or a Monk)/Oracle (Blind curse)

We're still working on the others. But....Emerald Sustrai is going to be well....Rogue (There's a specific archetype for her too)/Gunslinger (Pistolero), and maybe something else.
