Hello one and all! Tis the Sorcerer again, and this time (I do believe I have the right thread..section thing this time)I'm requesting help with a build; the action horror hero, Isaac Clarke, from my all time favorite video games, the Dead Space series. Now, please do take into consideration, for classes, I only own the Core to help with those. I'll be trying to purchase Advanced variants tomorrow, SO in preparation, I need your help! Any ideas/tips will be greatly appreciated! I was thinking of making him a Gunslinger, with a few levels in Monk perhaps, since he's well off in both of those categories. But what weapon would he even use? Or perhaps I'm going about this all wrong, and Ser Isaac of Clarke would go better as a knight? What feats? All that stuff!

If you aren't in a time crunch, you could wait till they realease the Numeria sources for Iron Gods, you'll get more space-age tech options and such. Not having played much Dead Space, I can't provide much more input than that. Also, I think this could fall under the "Conversions" section of the forum too, but advice should probably work.
I don't think you can really capture Isaac Clarke in Pathfinder, considering the huge gap in genre. I'd suggest another system, but if you're intent on PF, could you tell us what you consider to be defining features?

Depends largely on your playstyle for dead space. Personally, I went for a one gun run the first time I played it, so I mostly think of him as a man running around with a plasma cutter. Ergo, I would go with a pistolero gunslinger.
Although admittedly, it is hard to think of any other way to go with most of the weapons when trying to go into a system with so much focus on swords and sorcery. Maybe use dragon pistols so you still have a choice to grab flame thrower ammo?
Of course, you could define your character in entirely different ways from merely his fighting style. I mean, Isaac is also well known for his heavy armor. Maybe go with something like an armored hulk barbarian? (leaning towards that since I tend to think of Isaac as filled with a certain rage when it comes to fighting...rather justifiably so given the whole 'circumstances' of the games).
Of course, a ranger with favored enemies 'undead' and 'evil outsider' or 'aberrations' seems appropriate. A paladin suits in a similar vein.
It's pretty much all Gunslinger. However, I'd consider asking your GM for the chance to add the 3rd party Mechanist and usually Gnome only Experiental Gunslinger to achieve Isaac's engineering nature.
