Alignment: Chaotic Good
Website: Tavernhold.com
Our Goals: Fighting monsters, drinking merrily, having fun
We want you or your guild to join our settlement. Sure, you can join our guilds as well, but you don't have to do that. Settlements are made of many small groups coming together for a common purpose and that's what this is about. Settlements.
As far as size goes, you've got:
- Parties (which are just like they are in any game)
- Companies (which are guilds or clans in any other game)
- Settlements (which is a group of companies and random members)
- Nations (which is a group of settlements)
If you're looking at your half-dozen friends and wishing you could be part of something bigger, then come on in and join us. Your group won't lose its identity by becoming part of our settlement. We're a relaxed sort of group and are looking to build a settlement where people can have fun.
Bring your whole guild and join our settlement. Let us know your contact information and we can add your group to the list of founders.

Group: The Golden Flask
Role: Heroes for hire
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Patron Deity: Cayden Cailean
Blurb: As the Accidental God has shown us, life's best adventures are unplanned. You need to simply surround yourself with friends and set out to find whatever destiny has in store for you. Life is too short not to enjoy it to its fullest and see all that you can while living it. Come chance the awesome undertakings which fate has in store for you and seek your fortunes with us.

Group: The Dream Seekers
Role: Guardians of Travelers
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Patron Deity: Desna
Accepted Positions: All positions.
Blurb: By Desna's grace we have found ourselves blessed with good friends in the members of the Golden Flask, and have joined forces with our freedom-and-ale-loving friends, and now we seek to turn our focus from the running of a settlement, to the managing of a church in the settlement of Tavernhold. We plan to act as a place of refuge and a central hub for all members and allies of the faith who travel through the area.

I've added your Settlement to the Guild Recruitment & Helpful Links list alongside The Golden Flask. If you have a brief description you'd like to appear there to let people know about your guild while they're browsing that list, just PM me or post a clear request here.
Good luck :)

We still have our first website. It's just our company website. This one is our settlement website. ;)
Joking aside, we're very happy to have the Dream Seekers (they were the Dream Chasers in the land rush) as part of our settlement. We claim the tavern, they claim the temple. We're hoping someone claims some mines, logging camps, and other major points of interest soon.

Dear Virgil,
Knowing that you have been talking about a tavern since long before the Land Rush, I'm sorry if your current move was not by choice. As I have mentioned to you previously, your idea of an open tavern where members of all groups can lay aside differences, have a drink, and enjoy each other's company is a very community minded approach that we need in PFO. Your previous location seemed not only to provide such a residence, but was surrounded by PvE content that you and your patrons would have enjoyed before returning to the tavern to have a drink and tell stories of your successful hunting. Almost a resort of sorts.
If you remain in your present location, I am confident that the Empire of Xeilias' trade hub of Aeternum would love nothing better than to establish trade along the road we both front. Further offers, as I have made on your forum, are also still standing.
I wish you luck, either in recapturing your previous position if, again, the move was not voluntary or even discussed with you and yours before it occurred, or similar luck in holding your new position if it meets your needs and your liking.
Hobs

I know some of you folks may be bummed about losing the 'tavern surrounded by monsters' locale... but if it helps, I had the same idea for my kickstarter tavern a couple months back and, if all works out, it should be down the road from your new location, there should be even more monsters, and you're all invited to come and stay as long as you like.

All that the land rush and it's 'Guilds' (a term that I believe will never be officially associated with the game beyond the current promotion) are for is to determine who gets what settlements, so theoretically, no your company's members can vote for whatever they want to. Practically though, if you're planning to have your company sponsored by a settlement then you should probably figure out which settlement you want that to be, and have everyone throw their weight behind said settlement.
At least this is my understanding, I hope it helps.

Welcome to the neighborhood (J), that stretch of the road is going to be known as the "Highway of Chaos".
There are so few chaotic based settlements, I believe only 3 now, I believe that we should maintain decent relations with each other.
We should begin with an Ambassador exchange to get things started.

What Nihimon said.
However, the land rush isn't contractually binding. It just shows initial support. You can change your minds and never actually join us in game if you think we're jerks.

Not really a company, but we are members of the loose affiliation on the boards known as FAWTL. We had hoped to get something going by ourselves, but we lack the focus. At this point it's just me and BT. We do know several others who are unaffiliated, and will attempt to have them come in as well.
Whoa! The FAWTLs? We'd love to have you guys! Woot!

Bitter and DungeonMonkey: Go ahead and join us on the land rush so I can add you as citizens on Tavernhold.com
Cool. Diane and I are trying to sort out some tech problems with Goblin works. We can't get our EEs to show up right now. We are working with customer service, but it's a bit slow.

No problem. I hope everything gets sorted with that. Mine ended up working out pretty well, but I've heard of problems for a lot of other people.
