Is this party stable enough for this ap?

Wrath of the Righteous

So my girlfriend and I have been having tons of fun doing scenarios with me as GM and each of us playing 2 characters. As we have been unable to find reliable people to stick out a full ap, we have decided to try this one in the same manner as the scenarios.

Currently, she will be playing a paladin and a gunslinger, with me as a cookie cutter monk and a ranged inquisitor.

My question is, will this work for this ap? I don't need or even want the group to be optimized but if this makeup will have instabilities throughout, I'd rather make the changes now. Transplanting a PC mid campaign can really kill immersion. Neither of us have played inquisitor or gunslinger before, hence the hesitation.

Any input would be very helpful and we are both very excited to kick off this ap!

Also, any tips in general regarding GMing this ap would be much appreciated as well.

Thanks for reading!

I think your spellcasting side is seriously underpowered. By later in the AP the party won't have access to the kinds of high level spells they are going to need.

Paladin is a good choice for sure. Gunslinger or Ranged Inquisitor - pick one. Dump the monk and the range expert you didn't choose for two full casters - some arcane and divine firepower (Wiz/Sorc/Cleric/Druid/Witch).

The party needs some healing and decent spell variety. The party at present has very little healing and spell variety to deal with different situations/scenarios.

If you are going full on Mythic you will want/need some of that mythic spellcasting provided by some full caster classes.

You do get some significant potential boosts by bringing NPC's, (who can come with you), but they are not substitutes for a good selection of PC classes.

The counter point may be that the Mythic Rocket Tag, coupled with essential 4 martial classes, just might overpower/overwhelm the opposition. But sooner or later, I suspect the party will really miss not having some serious healing skills, as well as high level Wizard spells.

Have you thought about how to replace those capabilities with your current idea of Pally, Slinger, Monk and Inquisitor?

my wife and i do the same thing when our daughter goes off for a couple weeks here or there during the summer (we also have a son but he is not even 3 so doesn't go for extended periods) she preferred Shattered Star though.

but yes i do see how both a paladin, ranged inquisitor and gunslinger could cause problems.
Witches and Druids fit in the theme of Sarkoris have you considered either of those?

i myself would take the "Unlikely Heroes of the Crusade" or maybe "Forces of Nature/the Land rising up against the demons" type of themes:)

Would it be possible for me to rebuild the inquisitor to cover some healing, or would it still be too minuscule to matter? I really wanted the inquisitor for flavor so it will be a shame to lose it.

i would keep inquisitor and maybe switch the gunslinger (ideally) or ranger with a full caster class like Cleric, Wizard, Witch, Oracle, or Sorcerer

and really play what you want to have the most fun, the problems can be sorted out as you go:)
