Weighing my options [Help me choose a class][3pp allowed]

Advice

So I am about to join a Homebrewed urban pathfinder Drow campaign that focus on the goings on of the Underdark city Menzoberranzan. My friend is DMing it and has given use the heads up that this game is going to be a heavy focus on roleplaying and puzzle solving, and less of a focus on combat. I know that there will be four of use in the game but I’ve only talked to one other player. He going to be playing a Drow Investigator.

I for one am was thinking about playing a Drow sorc. specializing in enchantment/mind control spells and using my own homebrewed prc (that the GM already approved). I’ll post the link down below if anyone wants to take a look at it but all you really need to know is that the cap ability allows you effect sentient creatures that are normally immune to mind affecting spells.

However before I make my final choose I’d thought I’d way my options. My GM has recently told me that he is allowing 3pp, as long as it goes along with the theme and he still gets final say. Unfortently I am not 100% familiur with all the 3pp material out there so I’d thought I’d ask you all. Is there any class out there in the pathfinder universe that is better suited at mind control than that of a sorcerer? (beside psions)

(I am also looking a 3pp spells, feats and items if anyone has any suggestions)

I'd need to know about the other two Pc's first. So far your choice looks good.

Couldnt tell you that...on the account that they (whoever they are) have yet to actually join. Not that it really matters, I know I want to be caster focusing on mind control. The rest is just finding the right class, feat and items to do so.

I am fairly competent with Core pathfinder material but not with 3pp material, so that is what I am asking for. Is there anything in that area that I might have missed.

Scarab Sages

The Cryptic from Dreamscarred Press would be a good fit, though he'd have some overlap with the Investigator. The Cryptic is a psionic class that sees the world as patterns and can affect it by disrupting or changing those patterns.

The Dread, also from DSP, could be a solid character as well, very drow appropriate with abilities related to fear and terror.

Rogue Genius Games' Death Mage could also be very good, it's essentially a necromancer type class who chooses from several Pale Roads to determine the nature of his powers. My favorite is actually the Reaper who specializes in destroying undead and gains a powerful combat ability that amplifies his attack and damage, called Reap.
