Channel Paladin

Advice

Ok, i am thinking about makign a paladin/life oracle heal bot.

I really wanted the ulitmate mercy by like level 7.

There would also be channeling to heal form both classes. So I was conisdering what are good ways to bump charisma without the headband slot? I knwo there is the cheliax cloak, but I was hoping for somethign more.

there's no reason to be a paladin and oracle of life, being oracle of life is one way to heal like a god the other is to be cleric. you take paladin if you want to hit things and use lay on hands on and sometimes channel.

Well the orcale is for the life link.

So I can LOH myself each round and soak damage.

Take a look at Bracers of the Merciful Knight:http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic-items/wondrous-items/wondrous-items/a- b/bracers-of-the-merciful-knight

If you beg your GM and spend 2/3 of your wealth you could get them, though its a little unusual to spend more than half on a single item.

Ultimate mercy by 7 is just fine, but you need to put pretty much all your feats into it. How many people are you going to be life linking to? Each one is a needed oracle level

Say Oracle 3, Paladin 4 with feats:
1: Fey Foundling
3: Greater Mercy
5: Extra LOH
7: Ultimate Mercy

That gives 4+Cha mod LOH's, or 6+Cha with the bracers or with a +4 headband.

Thats an awesome magical item. This ouold be for PFS. So it is cheaped than a +4 headband. I was thinking about getting the paladin archetype that channels without using up LOH and then getting the head slot bonus to channeling.

Oradin Link

I'd a pretty strong and fun build. It also doesn't regulate you into being a healbot. Take Power attack and swing a 2 handed weapon the same as any other melee brute. You just don't die and make sure your friends don't either.

I strongly suggest hospitaler archetype for paladin. Each class then gets its own pool of channeling.

Yeah I was going along that build idea with my first thoughts.
