Can I delete a Pathfinder Character?

I have played one of my characters online so he received an online chronicle sheet. However, I do not like him and I have OCD about the number the character is and what class he is (it's weird don't ask). How can I delete him? Because the option to delete does not appear next to his name anymore.

Once you post 10 times as a character/alias you can't delete or change the name of the character (on these forums). But, since you've only played the character once (or even if you have played him 3 times) you are able to change anything about him that you want, name/race/class/faction/equipment. Now your OCD might drive you batty since you've posted with him you won't be able to change his name online, but as a character you can change whatever you want.

I have actually deleted a PFS character, and now I completely lack character number #6.

I advice against deleting a character and instead rename him/her if you have a hint of OCD. :P

How did you do it? I don't have any other characters so it would be fine to delete.

I don't have a character #1 or #2. If a scenario has been reported already for that character I don't think you can delete it though. However, you can change it anything about it as long as you haven't already played your first scenario as a second level character.

He hasn';t played at second level has he? If not you can retrain him for free into everything... your hulking barbarian from session 1 can show up to session 2 as a mousey little wizard.

What BigNorseWolf said... up until your character plays his/her first scenario as a 2nd level character, you can change virtually anything about him/her. Take a look at the Guide before you do anything hasty.

For example some have elected to play the first three adventures (meaning the whole 1st level) as a barbarian, and then convert it into a full caster (say, wizard). This way the character has higher survivability rate to second level.
