Wow. I just rolled 18, 19, 17, 18. Thank you, fickle fate.
And just for everyone's reference, yes, I am going to pick Weapon Finesse as my first mythic feat so that I'm not doing such dinky damage.
DMOldGuy - Would it be possible to post the attack rolls for enemies, even if they miss? I have to beat an enemy's attack roll for my OPaR ability, and I think it would speed things along. Thanks.

Is it a swashbuckler thing that allows Finesse to affect damage? Usually it only helps to hit.
I know next to nothing about swashies, or mythic tricks, so I'm curious, cuz that might be a good thing for Sera, given that she is high Dex, low Str

Cool, like Dervish dancer or Agile weapon, but in a different feat form.
Once we start working better together, you melee types can start abusing readied actions. Rogues I see usually ready an action that hinges on someone else getting into a flanking position.
It allows both attackes to benefit from flanking and helps rogues get their vital SA damage.

Couple things:
@Dieter, post up which rolls are OPaR rolls which are "normal" attacks, please.
@all: apologize for the hectic way the combat seems to be going. I am used to round by round, tabletop type, combat and that's the way I've run it in PbP in the past. But I do like some of the suggestions that have come up here. The idea that posting order sets up initiative order seems to me like that would work well. Star Wars: Edge of Empire does just that with the initial roll for initiative. PCs roll and establish initiative slots, while the NPCs have their slots. Then who goes when for the PC slots is decided by the group, and it can change round by round. That would be the same as posting order init I would think. Then each of you could read the "first posters", check your map, and then react and post. Let me know what you think, I'd like to start the next round like that seeing as all of the bugs have gone.

May I interrupt at this moment please! So far you do a very good job. It is weekend, and battle at weekend is always chaotic.
So far a full vote of confidence on my side.
AND battle is always chaotic. You do stupid mistakes and you have to live by them. This is no chess game! ;-)

Yep, so far I think you're doing a great job and I'm happy with how things are going.
I'm fine with however you want to organize combat. I have a mild preference for how we've been doing it - posting whenever, with contingencies and having you sort out the action order.
The advantage to this way is that if I read the situation in the morning, and know I won't be able to post until lunch, that I don't have to worry about the situation on the ground changing while I figure out my post. The disadvantage is that if you aren't used to dealing with contingent orders it can be a lot to wrap your head around.
Doing things by posting order is a lot more straightforward and can keep people engaged, but it can also give an incentive to delay posting. For instance, I may wait a while now to see if someone is going to kill some of those heavily wounded bugs before posting, instead of posting right away with contingencies. Which is fine, unless you get two or three people who are all waiting for someone else to go first.
Just something to think about -- I'm really pleased with you and this group so far, so I have no doubt that we'll do well with whatever you end up with.

Umm.. I thought I did? The first line of spoilered text reads,
"Use Opportune Parry and Riposte against Giant Cockroach 1. If successful, I get a free attack"
I list the first attack to resolve the OPaR, and the second attack/damage if I am successful and receive a basic attack as an immediate action.

@ Dieter: can you put your CHA bonus in your character header? I see that with Dodging Panache that adds to your AC, and it would help to have an easy reference. Also, I thought for sure you'd be out of Panache points by now, until I read the Swashbuckler again. All of those crits and kills have kept the points coming in!
@ anyone else: Remind me how to build the header stuff please?
Dieter Stolzdorf
Yep! It seems like if I get a keen rapier and take the Critical Focus feat, I will basically be able to use panache points every round without having to worry about running out.
For your header, click on my profile to take a look. I put my gender and race in as normal, but in the Class/Levels field I add all of the additional information.

Hello everyone,
I must first off, apologize for the delay in getting this posted, it has been a rough few weeks and gaming took a low priority. I could give a number of reasons, but what it boils down to is that I’m stepping away from the Paizo site for a while, at least until my life settles down, perhaps longer.
RPing with many of you has been enjoyable, and for those I just started playing with, I wish it could have been longer. For games I’m a PC, feel free to bot or remove my PC however you see fit. For those I am GMing, I leave it up to you to decide if you want to find a replacement or let the game die.
If anyone is interested in a more detailed explanation of what’s going on, feel free to PM me. I may not divulge every personal detail, but I could provide a bit more to those I have spent so much time with.
Sorry

Am I losing you guys already? I am working the NPC angle - and they become important to the AP as time goes on - this is your chance to make allies, if you haven't figured it out by now. AND we have to continue the underground part of the AP. All part of adding XP and loot until you hit the surface.
Bollwerk
For sure not me!
I really like the NPC angle, but I also want to get the story moving. Also I feel as if I steamroll others and I do not want to do that.
Fabian Moldonado
I'm still here.
Fabian decided to go forward and investigate the temple with Bollwerk because one of the NPCs talked him into it :) I'm sort of hoping we'll be able to clear this place out and use it as a resting spot.
Dieter Stolzdorf
I'm half-tempted to "bump" into Gwerm at the next high ledge.
Bollwerk noted that he "will enter boldly into the next room," which from your description would be the "stone door on the left at the end of the hall." I believe we are ready to explore the rest of the temple. ;)
Sweet Lucille
Still here, it's just been kind of a strange week.
Bit of a challenge for me playing someone who isn't very talkative. So I'm enjoying the interaction very much, I just don't have much to say.
My only problem with Gwerm is that I'm Order of the Land -- the order that defends...peasants. So he's constantly telling me that I need to be taking care of everyone except him. :)
Bollwerk
Or DMPC them for a moment. It has been a great story so far and I am afraid she will die if we do not continue. And that, I feel, would be a great LOSS. I think we should also define a deadline. Like 2 weeks no sign of life, we try to find an replacement.
Sweet Lucille
Agreed, I'm really enjoying this and would hate to see it end.
