Its to bad there aren't more books with zombies fighting things other than humans
I would love books that have vampires and zombies or vampires/ zombies vs humans and robots etc.
Same with video games. Mix it up a little bit. Resident evil 1 had zombies but other critters. More variety please.
How about the movie aliens (from aliens franchise) wipe out earth and the survivors battle on earth to survive. That would be great television.

Sadly, with internet and stuff, any story of success quickly inspires opportunistic businesses to try and capitalize on whatever seems "in" at the moment. This is true for many nerdy things, zombies included, and the video game industry is part of that.
Only thing one can do about it is neglect to go with the crowd and only by games that look good, instead of automatically buying zombie games. It's a small impact, but as a consumer that's really the only thing you can do.

Well, a skeleton is thirty pounds of bones without muscles to produce force... they aren't the scariest things available. At least with zombies, they still have the stuff they used to move in life. A skeleton is more like a discarded shell at the beach.
Obviously you have never seen Jason and the Argonauts

I have. It's magnificent. Skeletons are still dumb. =)
So what your telling me... Is that skeletons are bone heads?
Actually I'm fine with zombies. They come all sorts of varieties and I like the mutants and super zombies and necromorphs. I only really get bored with them when its the same kind of zombie x1000 and your just like "oh look, another shambler like I've seen 100 times already... where was my thrill again?"
