Touch of Destiny use?

Advice

Anyone know of a way to get to use Touch of Destiny on yourself before Quicken SLA?

Touch of Destiny (Sp): At 1st level, you can touch a creature as a standard action, giving it an insight bonus on attack rolls, skill checks, ability checks, and saving throws equal to 1/2 your sorcerer level (minimum 1) for 1 round. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Charisma modifier.

I think this sounds perfect for an "everyman" hero, but I can't seem to find a way to use it on yourself.

Optimistic Gambler lets you use the Touch of Rage Orc bloodline ability, but that's a morale bonus and this an insight bonus.

Well, you could use it by doing things that don't take standard actions, such as Saving Throws if you are facing a debuffer, or certain skills/skill combos, along with some nice synergy it has with reach builds that are focused on getting AoO's. But generally, its a free ally buff ability.

It's a spell-like with range of touch. If you had a familiar, could it store it for you?

I'm not sure about "storing" it, but it's possible you could designate the familiar as the "toucher".

If the master is 3rd level or higher, a familiar can deliver touch spells for him. If the master and the familiar are in contact at the time the master casts a touch spell, he can designate his familiar as the “toucher.” The familiar can then deliver the touch spell just as the master would. As usual, if the master casts another spell before the touch is delivered, the touch spell dissipates.

Here is an interesting question: If I attempt to use this on an ally and decide to make a melee touch attack instead of the normal auto-hit assumption, do I hold the charge? And, If I am a Paladin and use Lay on Hands, would I get affected by it as well?
