So I know that the PF MMO is not out yet, and that it changes a lot of the things from the rules in PF to be more MMO friendly...however, looking at games that were from 3e and 3.5, which ones were your favorite, and which ones do you think come closest to being what you'd want in a PF game?
When I look at them, I think my favorite is probably
Icewind Dale II...but it has some pretty heavy houserules.
I enjoy NWN, but as it is real time, and the actual campaign doesn't catch my fancy, the best times I had with it were the adventures others designed.
NWN II is supposedly very good, but never really got into it myself.
I though Temple of Elemental Evil was also fun. It dealt more with tactics than the others in my opinion, and was turn based.
Are there others that kind of have that PF type game. I only have mentioned the ones based off 3e/3.5 but there are probably others out there.

There's Knights of the Chalice, which used the 3.5 OGL rules, from an indie publisher. It used technology that was similar in overall look and gameplay to the old SSI Gold Box games, and it was quite a bit of fun.
No due date on when the sequel is expected, but it's being worked on, and will have many more classed to pick from.

NWN 2 is good but oh lordy! The sheer insanity that you need to wade through to get through one door in Waterdeep. The Let's Play archive goes on about how you need to be either a city guard/thief guild member, do a bunch of city quests then go all the way to another area to clear out some orcs. That is what stopped me from playing again.

Geneforge has tabletop grid-style combat. The story is unique and compelling, and has 12 or so alternate endings. The graphics are only enough to get the job done, but if that's a dealbreaker for you, you'll be missing out on a great game. The whole series was on sale on Steam last week, but it's cheap enough there either way.

Storms of Zehir! I forgot to talk about that, full control over your party members. Want a group of all clercs? Sure! You can create characters that are crafters and will sit at home base while your combat team goes out. It takes gold, but you can level characters who are lagging behind so the crafters can keep crafting.
Protip. Concentrate on getting your caravan up first so the income will come rolling in for upgrading your PCs

Pillars of Eternity will look a lot like Icewind Dale II in style, but the game will use its own system instead of the D&D ruleset. However, a lot a spells, abilities and classes were directly inspired by D&D.

Temple of Elemental Evil with the Co8 modpack is the best 3.5 video game out there. It's the most faithful reproduction of the 3.5 ruleset, and actually has ready actions, AoOs, and everything that makes 3.5 3.5.
I'll also give a shout out to Knights of the Old Republic. It's Star Wars instead of fantasy, but it uses the d20 ruleset and is one of the better Star Wars stories ever written. It's sqeuel has better options and mechanics, but it was released early so the story got a little butchered.
