I'm actually quite surprised (pleasantly so) at the backer level price points for this. I was initially thinking it might be comparable to The Lost Lands KS. I'm tentatively in right now, pending spousal approval. :)
Stupid smartphone not working. Must Wait...1.5 more hours...but I'll be in for PF Esq. This will be my first FGG product ever. Its low level, a nice intro, and will not be my last purchase.
I can pledge MORE than the amount for my backer level, right?

Save money for add ons on the survey though!
Yes you can - also keep in mind that there is a $5 dollar print version of the players guide add-on (that should probably be also listed in the add-on section) so most people should at least throw in another $5 or more to cover getting 1 of those if they haven't already.
6 hours and halfway home--I smell add ons!

I'm INNNNNN!!!
First Kickstarter ever
First FGG product ever
I'm really glad I waited...
Anyway, that's one more in. Oh, and to all the excellent staff at Frog God Games: thanks! Now I do have one request - please really hit that August deadline. It would complete the experience for me. Y'see, my birthday is August 23rd.
Bill Webb wrote: Save money for add ons on the survey though! How do I tack on the add ons?
Mark--at this point we are adding add-ons during the survey. Some are discounted products, some are regular price. We try not to add them to the kickstarter, since Amazon takes 7-9%.

Chuck Wright wrote: Do you mean Sword of Air? The Lost Lands Campaign Setting will be a completely other thing. :D Yeah, that one. It had a really long name and I was typing while working. :) That was my first FGG KS, so that's what I had to compare to. Even against a few other non-FGG, it's a nice surprise to see.
ps--delivery date is VERY high probability.
Mark Hoover wrote: Bill Webb wrote: Save money for add ons on the survey though! How do I tack on the add ons? You just go to the Manage your pledge button and increase the amount. So say you are just getting the Hardback (US) and you originally put 40 dollars, you can go back in an add more money if more offerings come up(say adding in another 5$ for a print players guide) upping your total to 45 dollars even though your pledge level is at the $40 point.
You can also change your pledge commitment from there going up or down on the list of backer options (as long as there are slots available).
That's basically it during the KS
What Bill is talking about (and correct me if I'm wrong) is setting some extra cash when this closes to add in money to buy extra books or items from FGG. So when this closes if they offer the Tome of Horrors IV at a slight discount, I will add it in - but it won't be part of the kickstarter funding (I think).
Aux--that is correct. I don't want to pay amazon for books we already printed (or some we are not kickstarting)
But...you guys can add many items when we do the survey (Amazon does not take money from stuff added on our survey).
Over halfway there in about 8 hours, give or take some.
C'mon Pathfinders and Forumites! Let's get Bill to make more wilderness encounters! Close this thing out in a day! *grabs pom poms and puts on a skirt and sweater with a giant frog on em*
I am just glad Skeet has to do the maps. Most are not layered, so its hours of photoshop work

Yeeeees, lots of work. But worth it if you guys pull it off.
Less than 7 grand to go for extra bonus. I pick Braveheart for mvp. If we fund by 0900 he can iron gm me with a monster, magic item and brief storyline for my free add on.
Bill Webb wrote: I am just glad Skeet has to do the maps. Most are not layered, so its hours of photoshop work Some of the background elements are repeating patterns, so it's not as bad as it seems. Let me know if you need any help, Skeetums.
Got in at #33, Same as my killer DM #33 from RA reloaded... I take it as a good omen (and as a bad omen for my players). Herald of the Lost Lands, Woohoo!
I'm in. Any chance of those maps being color and usable in a VTT? Maybe stretch goal?
Bill Webb wrote: ps--delivery date is VERY high probability. Wow, just noticed this should come in a month before SoA. Nice.
I believe I was #98. Got home, bought in, then went outside to enjoy the rare nice day in NE Ohio.

And now it's funded! Everything from here on out goes to stretch goals.
Congrats FGG! Another successful Kickstarter under your belt!
The original 3.5 version suggests only giving 1/2 XP rewards in the book so that the players do not out level the adventure. How does this look to be working out in the Pathfinder and S&W versions?

POW that was fast. Congrats, can't wait. With this possibly being so close to SOA (and maybe RA/CD subs?) maybe a hold for "One Hoofing Big Package, Extras Included, To NZ" is in order! :D
Well I can't speak for them, but that sounds like that might work mach!
The Froggies have been very kind to me with confusing and extensive order mixing in the past, customer service of the highest order!

We already have the players map, Bill's new wilderness area, and the new dungeon level - all in less than 24 hours. I expect the next stretch goal to be reached before I wake up... Joy, Joy...

Just wondering how much of this is expanded, since I grabbed the original adventure during the RA KS. Of course the new and lovely stretch goal wilderness areas, but how much else?

I go to bed, we're hovering at 9K; I wake up and we've got the whole thing funded, we've got our special 1day goal, and we've got level 4B. We've ALMOST hit the first ACTUAL Bill Webb wilderness goal. That's really cool!
Congrats FGG! Now let's watch everything else pile on for the REST of the month...
What an awesome, huge first day. :)
FGG Kickstarters are a no-brainer decision.
Going to need those adamantium shelves soon once SoA and Barakus arrive and my existing furniture have to start making saving throws.
Unfortunately, I can pretty much put to rest any hope for new color maps for VTT. it's simply not something we can do at this time. The time and money investment are just outside the scope of this Kickstarter. I love that you guys are so interested in it, and it might make for a different KS in the future (maybe multiple books get a color-map treatment?), but as much as a couple of people want them, this KS is strictly to get the book out there.
We are looking at other stretch goals, so keep the other ideas coming! And thanks for everything guys; the Frog Gods know we have some of the best, most loyal and involved fans in the industry!

It helps us as well to only send one package. Maybe there's a bonus for waiting???
SG
PS I dont know that there is a bonus, Im just trying to make Bill say "Shut up Skeet!" on the boards lol
I like the idea of the players guide. Maybe there might be additional player handouts like NPC cards/details, maps or other art that would help them get into the game as a stretch goal?
I emailed d20 Pro to see if they had the resources to make the virtual maps.
That's awesome. If VTT happen I would love if they were not tied to a single program. I use Roll20 and not interested in trying another program out. Just a hi res color map is all I need. Thanks for looking into it Bill.

No worries Skeeter. I'm still backin' Just so you know, I'd support any/all color map conversions for D20Pro, or hell, like LastGrasp just said, color maps formatted for any VTT (although I'd hate to give up that awesome fog of war you guys set up).
It's thanks to the D20Pro maps/files that I'm getting so much mileage out of Rappan Athuk with people all around the world. Thanks!
