So this is the wording of the feat:
Shaitan Style (Combat, Style)
You strike with the caustic forces from within the earth.
Prerequisites: Con 13, Wis 15, Elemental Fist**, Improved Unarmed Strike, base attack bonus +9 or monk level 5th.
Benefit: You gain one additional Elemental Fist (Advanced Player's Guide 158) attempt per day. While using the Shaitan Style and Elemental Fist feats to deal acid damage, you gain a bonus on acid damage rolls equal to your Wisdom bonus. Further, if your Elemental Fist melee attack misses while you are using it to deal acid damage, you still deal 1d6 points of acid damage to your target.
But let me explain why it only makes sense to interpret it as the extra damage only applies on an actual hit, because otherwise the damage is the exactly the same.
The normal base damage for a elemental fist before this feat (or any others) is 1d6. With this style it becomes 1d6+wis mod when doing acid damage only. If the wisdom modifier applied to misses as well you would always be doing the additional damage. If that was the intention why wouldn't they have simply wrote, "when dealing acid damage with elemental fist you always deal 1d6+wis mod even on a miss". Why? Because that's not what they intended to happen.
