Help with a Two Weapon Tengu Rogue

Rules Questions

I'm trying to build a level 1 TWF tengu rogue and needs some help...
With the tengu's alternate racial trait [Exotic Weapon Training], If I pick the dueling sword as one of the weapons, can Weapon Finesse be used with it or do I still need to get the Exotic Weapon Training feat?

I think the real question would be does the Tengu racial trait Swordtrained count as having exotic weapon proficiencies in any sword like weapon that requires it?

First it list the bastard sword, which is a one handed exotic weapon, but can be used two-handed as a martial weapon. So it is unclear. However, it also list the elven curve balde which is also an exotic weapon. Which does not have an exception about being able to use it as anything other than an exotic weapon. So, I think this sets a precedent that you recieve the equivalent of Exotic Weapon proficiency feat in any swordlike exotic weapon.

So, no need for exotic weapon proficiency (aldori dueling sword), just pick up weapon finesse and you should be fine.

Alright, thanks for the help. It just spared me a feat :)

Why wouldn't it count? You're proficient with the weapon, so you count as having the proficiency feat for that purpose.
