Do you have to be a monstrous and/or cannibalistic cleric? Do you have to consider it food for it to work? What would the effects be? Is it considered an evil act?
I think you can do it if your rping something like Hannibal Lecter. Is your PC that kind of gentlemen? If not, Im with the above. I wouldnt treat a corpse as food.

ok, I'll play along:
If you butcher and cure/smoke/boil/pickle/otherwise preserve it as food, I would allow it. Casting the spell should not be evil, but cooking a corpse I would interpret as cannibalism and evil.I would not allow it to rejuvenate withered grass on the pretext that cows eat grass.
I would also not allow a druid polymorphed to a hyena to cast it a human corpse. I might allow a werewolf caster to get away with it, but that campaign would be so house-ruled that canon interpretation is irrelevant.
Otherwise I'd polymorph to a Xorn and use it to purify gemstones (arguing that 'contamination' includes impurities and 'spoiled' includes spoiled crystal structure).

I would concider the corpse food like all dead animals can be. I can take a bite into a dead fish that has not been buchered and still get nutrience from it. The purification would prevent any desease from cannibalisim.
IF the only food available is the corpse, the owner of that corps was not killed soley for food (ie killed by the action of someone other than the eater) and the eater would die if they couldnt eat (die, not starve, die) I would not concider it evil, in the same way a muslem can eat non halal meat if it is a matter of life and death.
I would concider it evil under any other circumstances

When my Neutral HalfOrc Ranger used his Survival skill to render rations from fallen humanoids other party members called foul. I was told this was evil by players and these message boards. I made the necessary adjustments and toned down his Orcish mannerisms a tad. No biggie. I think most here will call any consumption of humanoids evil.

Consumption of intelligent creatures (int>3) would generally be considered an evil act.
Would purify food and drink work on a corpse? Maybe, maybe not. If you butcher the corpse and cut it up into steaks or cook it into a nice stew and then cast it on the food (I mean it is a unlimited casting cantrip) then I can't think of any reason not allow it to funciton per the description of the spell. But you're still an evil cannibal.
