Anyways I was working on an encounter list for my current weekly game and started reading up on the glyptodon, basically a massive armadillo with a scaled tortoise shell and started to wonder if one could make a suit of full plate from the scales collected from one and if so what would be the differences?
Any ideas from people would be greatly appreciated.
You could follow the rules for dragon hide armor, but add the fragile propriety to non-magical glyptodon armor, since the material is much more like bones than steel.

Yeah I could see something like that. I like the idea that an ankylosaurus or a glyptodon could be converted into suit of full plate or other heavy armors and have them made out of nonmetal materials.
Well you'd expect to get a lot from an ankylosaurus, even their eyebrows were plated and supposedly one of the few ways to get at them was from their underbelly.

That's from a 3.5 source, Dungeon Denizens Revisited, that is listed on Archives of Nethys.
So a Bulette is huge, and a Glyptodon is large.....I would say that you should halve those numbers to 1 set of medium plate armor and 2 sets of leather or studded leather. Large is generally the size of a horse or so, so just imagine a slightly longer horse with less limb length and more body-mass.
I could even see some massaging of those numbers to allow one suit of full plate or other heavy armor, one set of medium armor (breastplate or hide), 2 sets of light armor, and a large shield. If you decided to do a tower shield I would say you lose either both the light armors or the medium armor.
