I am asking these questions with the assumption an eidolon is allowed improved natural attacks (DM certainly allowed it).
1) The eidolon has 4 arms and 4 claw attacks, does she need to take improved natural attack (claws) more than once to improve all 4 (and probably 6 later on) of the claw attacks, or is taking it once enough o cover the basic 2 claws and any additional ones she adds?
2) If the eidolon had rend and successfully hits with two claws then rend damage is automatic isn't it? No need to roll? She then takes the improved rend feat (not sure that it's name but it reduces the number of attacks needed to successfully rend by one) does that mean she rends with a single successful claw attack?

So the max attacks entry on the eidolon table shows us that the eidolon cant take the extra pair of claws on the arms until 4th level... I'm under the assumption our summoner is at least level 4 then.
If what you mean by improved natural attack (claws) is the improved damage (ex) evolution, then it's fiat if the evolution applies to 4 claws in a single point or if it takes 1ev point per pair. Our table would use 1 point per pair to avoid taking advantage of poorly written mechanics... Summoners who try to buff up 6 pairs of claws with 1ev point are considered dbags at our table... Just sayin... Like summoners need any 'free damage'
There is no need to make an attack roll for the rend damage. 2 successful clawstrikes means rend damage is automatic. Rending with a single successful clawstrike is correct with the improved rend feat. Take note that only one rend is possible per round, so it's not possible to have 6 claws, improved rend, and hit with 6 claws and 6 rends in a round. With improved rend you could hit with 6 claws or 1 claw and get that rend damage, but not 6 separate rend damages in a round. Lots of people make this mistake.
Kali builds *multi arm rending machines" even played correctly are some of the most despised versions of eidolons in the game. There is a current debate going on in another thread regarding if claw strikes 3-6 would be considered secondary attacks or not....
Buhlman, the Dev most responsible for the summoner class in the first place says the eidolon he hates the most is the one thats built abusively as a whirling engine of damage and death... Have a little style. Not every eidolon needs to have 6 claws at 14th level. My current eidolon in RoTRL is doing just fine with only 2 hands and 2 claws and nothin else. The only time it ever gets a third attack in a round is if a haste comes up, which happens frequently.
Best advice for playing summoners of any variety is to try very very hard not to make the kind of eidolon that has 6 claws, rend, rake, bite, wind buffet and breath weapon... Sure it might sound fun to have a 6 armed dragon as a pet. But it won't be fun for long. If someone at your table is making one of these our best advice is "Dial it back crazypants."
A general rule of thumb is if you're playing a summoner so that you can build an eidolon thats an exploding nuclear sea urchin of crunchy DPS... play something else. In other words: Optimisers should never play summoners of any kind.

Not to say that its not ok to burn your 6 out of possible 7 evolution points on 4 improved natural clawed arms by the time you're 4th level....
Its just that summoner was originally designed to be a way to make interesting story elements where your summoner formed a special bond with a unique outsider. What kind of person forms a special bond with a cuisinart on legs that sees everything in the universe and asks itself the question 'does it blend?' If your answer to that questions is 'when my character was a little boy the only thing he wanted to do when he grew up was to become a murderhobo adventurer of slicey vengeance... then maybe its time to visit some of the other classes.
This is my pet. My pandimensional special friend. He's not the brightest crayon in the box but he's a quadruped with 4 arms and claws all around... His hobbies are waiting for me to point at something with a soul or a heartbeat and see if he can trample pounce it until its life force disappears...Then droppnig a load of pandimensional eidolopoop on its lifeless chest... Aint he just adorable? Don't worry about the fact that he's staring hungrily at you and drooling.... He does that with everybody... My buddy... My buddy and meeeeeee!

The improve natural attack feat applies to all of the same type of natural weapon as far as I know, in a way that is very similar to how weapon focus (claw) would apply to each claw.
It is not that much of a problem though, since this usually only means an extra 1 damage per claw. This is usually insignificant since it usually applies to 2 claws, except of course for a kali eidolon, but even then it is not as bad as the energy attacks evolution (which adds 3.5 extra average damage if you do not see a resistence). You only see a large spike in damage from weapon dice increases when you go from 1d8 to 2d6...which only happens with huge eidolons (which are already their own set of concerns that are far bigger for a GM) or if, as Takeda said, the player wastes a ton of evo points for improved damage on that ton of claws on a large eidolon.
The rend from claws is also not too much of a concern, since it is only 1d6 extra damage, right? Even if it activates on a single attack with that improved one you mentioned (I seem to also vaguely recall seeing that feat, but can't find it for the life of me, and I might be imagining the whole thing), there are tons of options that are larger concerns at that level, such as the energy attack evo or just flaming/frost/etc. amulet of mighty fists.

The summoner in question is 11th level, not known for cheesy builds. Ill have to remember the extra 1 pt per claw attack set for the imp damage, that sounds like a better interpretation. In the hands of other players at our table I might be concerned. I was contemplating whether to interpret the rend as an attack to mitigate the effects, certainly not RAW. I have steered her away from some choices, simply for balance but it was mainly the 1 pt for imp dam claw that I thought was a stretch.
The eidolons rend is quite powerful since it can adds 1.5x strength. The issue will begin soon since the eidolon is now large. 1 claw attack succeeds - bonus 21 damage on average, equiv to 6 energy attacks.
