Medusa Mask + Sandpoint Devil

Rules Questions and Gameplay Discussion

How do these two things interact? I'm thinking it's the same as evading it, but I want to know for sure.

Well the answer would be the same for any summoned monster. The Mask states that when you encounter a monster, display the mask and put the monster on top of it. Not defeated or undefeated. Complete your turn. Then it says to put the monster card on top of the location deck. Well you can't do that with summoned monsters, so the card would be banished back to the box and the mask would be buried under the character card.

@TClifford has got this one right as far as I understand things!

Ok, great, so it's played as common sense would dictate. Just wanted to make sure that there wasn't some rule that I was missing that had you placing the Devil on top of a location deck for some other poor schmuck to deal with.

This is similar to the Sandpoint Devil and Sanctuary debate. Same answer there, just put the Devil back in the box.
