Hexcrafter! Yay!

Advice

Thoughts:
I like melee. I like spells, and I like hexes. Therefore Hexcrafter!
Campaign: PFS
Proposed build:
Race: Tiefling (standard)
Vestigial Wings and Prehensile Tail alt. racials

Stats (After radials)
Str 13
Dex 16
Con 14
Int 17
Wis 10
Cha 8

Traits:
Magical Lineage (Frostbite)
Practical Activator (Int to UMD)

Feats:

1: Rime Spell
3: Familiar Arcana, Weapon Finesse
4: Slumber Hex
5: Dervish Dance
6: Flight Hex
7: Improved Familiar
9: Intensify Spell / Hasted Assault Arcana
11: ??
12: Ice Tomb Hex

May swap Practical Activator for Lessons of Chaldira or Wayang Spell Hunter (Shocking Grasp)
May swap level 7 and 9 feats, but action economy is always nice, the earlier the better.

Thoughts? Scimitar will be weapon of choice. I hate to move the DD to level 5, but Rime Spell on Frostbite should be effective enough through the low levels to will be the bread and butter from 1-??

Version 2:

Same as above but 14 str/dex/con

Traits:
Bruising Intellect (Int to Intimidate)

Feats:
1: Rime Spell
3: Enforcer/Familiar Arcana
5: Monstrous Mask
7: Improved Familiar
9 Carnugon Smash/Hasted Assault
11: ??
12: Ice Tomb Hex

Using version 2:
At level 11, with Bruising Intellect, I will not have the trait+feat needed (having taken Magical Lineage or Wayang Spellhunter) to take full advantage of Shocking Graps+Intensify, but that is my most compelling choice at level 11, I think.

Thoughts and Feedback appreciated. Thanks!

You will want to take Rime Spell at 5, since you can't even use it effectively until you get 2nd level spells, and you want dervish dance at lvl 3 because otherwise you won't be that effective until lvl 5 because you can't use weapon finesse on your scimitar until you have dervish dance.

Rime spell is just fine where it is, though it won't really be really useful until 2nd level.

@OP, you might want to go read the hexcrafter build guide for more assistance avoiding a few traps with building yours. There are a few trap options you need to keep an eye open for.

Mathwei, which option would you go with?

I've lately come to believe that the strength magus is the superior choice for any game where you expect to spend much time at 7th level or higher. dervish just lacks the flexibility that strength does at the point.

+1 What he said.

Blowing to whole feats to save a few Ability points (when there are soooo many other awesome options) is not a good move.

With those two slots you could have taken Extra Arcana: Hex Arcana 2x.
