OK, I am a little uncertain about how the acid damage of an ooze (a crystal ooze in this matter) works on weapons, armor, etc. If the ooze's acid inflict d6 dmg to a weapon hitting it, and the weapon has Hardness 10 (most bladed weapons), can it inflict any damage at all? I thought that acid perhaps bypassed the Hardness, but cannot find anywhere it says so.

Well, wooden hafted weapons have a base hardness of 5, but I suppose the d6 acid would still get halved before accounting for hardness.
Some oozes specifically call out that their acid damages weapons and armor. For those that do, it could be assumed their acid bypasses hardness as per the rules on damaging objects in the CRB.

"A wooden or metal weapon that strikes a gray ooze takes 1d6 acid damage unless the wielder succeeds on a DC 20 Reflex save".
Part of the entry, which is listed as a Special ability Acid (Ex). 1d6 dmg which is halved and have to overcome a 5 or 10 hardness is quite impossible. I think I'll rule that the acid overcomes hardness automatically.

As Nefreet said in the rules for damaging object. State that some enrgry types might be particularly effective against certain objects that is subject to GM discretion. It is a total GM defined area. So it ingore hardness completely , do half damage. or do damage and half. If GM rules it weak to an engery type. It is total GM call.
