Looking for an encounter tool as a GM

4th edition DnD had a really nice tool that let you build encounters quickly as well as browse through npcs and customize them.

Does pathfinder have something (official or unofficial) that serves the same function?

I use Combat Manager for this purpose in Pathfinder. It's not the same as the 4e tool, but in some ways it's more flexible.
