Continuing the conversation about the Dagger resolution from the Skull & Shackles FAQ, is there anything preventing you from updating the cards in the errata deck? After all, if someone is willing to update the 37 Blessings of the Gods, I guess there is nothing wrong about updating the 5 Dagger-like cards in this set.
(I am finding I am a completionist errata collector; help!)

What I hope will be the final color-match samples will be arriving soon—maybe even today.
Also, our friends at DriveThru have been working on something awesome, and we may be able to launch it alongside the errata decks, perhaps by the end of the month.
Okay Sir, you have my attention, I'm all ears

I would prefer the maximum card number solution.
Now i use the pasteups from hawkmoon, i want to get rid of all these, so please reprint all cards that got a pasteup ... The list of these cards is found on BGG files section, author hawkmoon, top hottest file...
Thanks...
Any decision yet made?
Pdf is no good as hawkmoon already got the pasteups which are the same as a potential pdf file from paizo...
Please also revise the erratas of SS in the same way... Ok?

Sadly, I haven't got a card back match I'm happy with yet. They sent 120 more today...

Hey there, I just found out this game exists and bought it last week. I made sure to get the 2nd printing from my store, and I know that covers most of the issues brought up in the earliest posts in this thread, but is there a comprehensive and continuously updated list of cards errata'd since the 2nd printing anywhere?
Sorry, I'm trying to play catch up and it seems most of the info is contained in random posts either here or on the BGG forums.
Thanks

I made an attempt at such a list, but I don't have the second printing so I need more info from those that do. You can see what I've got so far here.
I uploaded the feedback from the comments section which should be approved soon. And I also need to add this info.
Wise purchase by the way. Good luck on your adventure.

I have the second printing; but I'm a little confused about what the spreadsheet accomplishes if Paizo is releasing revised cards "soon", because I planned on buying the new cards. Does this help Paizo identify cards that are missing from the correction SKUs? I've already sunk a lot of time into modding the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game, and tracking down second printing and promos, and I've yet to play a single hand. I might as well have the all revised cards and save myself the FAQ checking step at this point.

1 person marked this as a favorite. |

The sheet isn't for Paizo. I started it because people asked what had been corrected in the second printing and what hasn't. That way they can know which cards in the second printing are incorrect.
Vic has said that when they release corrected cards there will be first printing versions and second printing versions.
More importantly though, you've got to find time to play a game. You are totally missing the enjoyment.

Thanks for the clarification Hawkmoon. I'll see what I can do once the new DriveThruRPG cards are released (I'd feel compelled to verify the new cards are in-sync with the FAQ).

I would, but I keep getting teased along: "Oh official PACG art sleeves? I need to sleeve my cards, so I guess I'll wait three more weeks." Then the schedule changes, and it's more than a three week wait. Fortunately, I've had a lot of other things occupying my leisure time, so I haven't missed PACG since I never got to know it in the first place.
Paizo's willingness to update the product post-release, their excellent Community Use Policy, and BGG user Kittenhoarder's Adventure Guide is what got me interested in the game; otherwise, I would have written it off completely after the initial complaints about the bad first print-run from China.

Hawkmoon269 |

Not to put you on the spot Hawk, but are you still updating your sleeve-ins? I love those things!
I am. I'm pretty sure RotR is up to date. S&S is almost up to date (except deck 3 since I don't have it yet). And I've done the class decks too. I've got a few more to add there from the past week.

GoodGuyJim |
Hawkmoon, thanks for the link, well done! I'll have to check out your other stuff.
GoodGuyJim,
Since you didn't specifically mention the FAQ, i just want to make sure you know it exists... the RotR FAQ is here.
Thanks Vic, I have seen it, but my trouble is figuring out which erratas are already fixed in the second printing and which aren't. I see only a handful of erratas that are tagged with "(This change has been made in the second printing.)"

GoodGuyJim |
At some point, I'd love to have the time to go through and tag all that, but for now, the best you can do is go through each entry and say "does the FAQ entry match the card in my deck?"
Sorry I think that came off more ungrateful than I wanted it to :-)
It's all good, you can direct people to Hawkmoon's spreadsheet for now

No worries, it didn't come off that way at all. It's a reasonable request!

Ragadolf |

Hey Vic, Thanks for making this happen.
A question, I honestly have no idea which printing I have.
I'm presuming the first printing, since I can not find where it says '2nd Printing' anywhere on the back of the box.
Can someone tell me where exactly it would say first or second printing? Am I just looking at the wrong spot(s) on the box?
Happy Holidays all!
:)

Hawkmoon269 |

On the Base Set it is on the bottom of the box in the lower right hand corner. There is a chunk of black text. The last words in that paragraph say either "Printed in China" (for the 1st Printing) or "2nd Printing. Printed in the USA" (obviously for the 2nd Printing).
On the adventure decks, it is on the back of the box. Look for the same wording. Also, the 2nd printing adventure deck boxes open on the side, while the first printing adventure deck boxes open on the top.

I did the cross-referencing work this afternoon and created my own personal 2nd Printing FAQ (which I haven't posted anyplace), so I know what FAQ entries still apply to the U.S.A. printing. I could email my findings to you Vic if you can get you web developer to update the FAQ with the proper tags in a reasonable time frame.
What are the chances of revised cards being available for ordering on DriveThruRPG in January 2015?

Autoduelist |

Technically, FAQ postings aren't covered by the CUP. But feel free to email me that info!
I emailed you the list of questions. I didn't release my collated FAQ on the internet for fear it wouldn't be allowed, and it appears my suspicions were right; although if you change your mind, or want it for Paizo's use, it's all ready to go. :-)
