Megaloceros reach capabilities?

in the description it says this enormous beast has a 10' span on its antler rack, yet it states it only has a reach of 5' with its gore attack. What the?

Just because it says thats how big the antlers are, doesn't mean thats the range at which the antlers are effective. Also fluff text =/= ingame statistics.

Edit: Also it says wide, not long.

Yep, "over ten feet across" means a bit more than 5 feet to each side, or "spanning up to 12 feet" would be 6 feet each.
