In Brigadoon, can you use your base power and a weapon on the same melee check?
For example can i use the rogue's ability to add a D6 for being alone in the location and then use a bow on top of that power for 2D6?
I think a socerer can't use the magic power in addtion to a spell.
Are all base powers treated such that you can't add weapon or spell to them?

You can use the Rogue's ability along with a weapon, yes. The only reason the Sorcerer can't use her power along with a spell is because the language of the spell specifically says "this counts as casting a spell". In general, you can use one of each type of card on any given check. So, for example, if your character has a 1d10+3 Melee check and a power that lets you bury a card to add another 1d10, and you are holding a weapon that adds 1d8 and an ally that adds 1d6 and a blessing, you could play all of those cards and make an attack check with 3d10 + 1d8 + 1d6 + 3. Another character could also use one weapon, one item, one spell, one ally, and one blessing on you if they all can apply to that same check.
