Made-Up-God in PFS

I was wondering if it was possible in PFS to choose to worship a deity that the player themselves created with an easy to discern list of what that deity has for domains and cares about and their favored weapon.

Example
Deity: [Dude]
Alignment: Neutral
Holy Symbol: Grinning stone statue of a merchant
Favored Weapon: Longsword
Domains: Charm (Love*), Earth (Metal*) Travel (Trade*) Trickery (Deception*)
*= Only subdomains this deity cares about

Grand Lodge 4/5 * Venture-Agent, Texas—Houston

No. Only deities from the core rulebook or a legal additional resource are legal for worship in PFS.

Grand Lodge 4/5 **** Venture-Captain, California—Sacramento

Well, the character can worship that deity, but since it won't exist in game, the character will gain no benefit, and he might risk offending worshipers of other deities who might feel he was mocking their beliefs.

By the way, why a longsword? It doesn't seem a very merchanty weapon. I would think sword cane.

@ Kelly: Tis a shame, though very understandable.

@ FLite: Was just thinking of a random weapon, but yes sword cane seems cooler for a merchant god. Also tell that to the dudes who worship Razmir and has a few feats, an archetype, and a prestige class focused around posing as a false cleric of that fake-god dude. :P

Well that answered my question. Thank you very much for the feedback.
