I can't seem to open subforums with internet explorer (I guess that's what it is; it says bing or something)
or start threads, but I just now tried it on firefox and it works.
So, anyway, I guess as usual I solved my own damn problem. I just felt like sharing, cos I know at least one other person who couldn't open subforums as well.
What the hell is bing? Chandler Bing? Really?
That's like internet explorer or something, right? Is bing it's own thing?
Bing is Microsoft's search engine.
Why were you using IE at all?
Yeah, I've been struggling to open a forum (and hence have been unable to start threads) for the last week or more. :(
Guys, I recognize that ongoing website problems are frustrating, but there's very little they can do in August. I don't have any numbers, obviously, but I'm willing to bet that GenCon brings in as much business in a week as the forums do all year; they basically don't have any choice about their priorities. They'll work on it when they're home. :)

Stop using IE.

In the meantime try:
Click on the forum name to "enter" it.
Right-click on the forum name and choose "Open in New Tab" or "Open in New Window". These work for me in IE 10.
