Does Duplicating a spell with wish also duplicate the casting time?

As the title, because it doesn't actually seem very clear.

So, I cast wish, and I want to duplicate simulacrum. Do I get a simulacrum as a standard action?

If I don't get it as a standard action, do I have to also be there for the casting of simulacrum, or is wish casting the spell, not me

No. Duplicating a spell with wish doesn't duplicate the casting time. Wish is a powerful spell that would duplicate the effect. There is a very similar thread somewhere, but I can't find it at the moment, sorry.

Just like shadow conjuration can summon as a standard action, wish can use simulacrum as a standard action.

They key here is how much MORE money you are paying.

Wish (and limited wish) have a casting time of one standard action. Any other time in the rules that there'd be variation in a detail, you'll see something like "varies; see text". In this case you don't. These spells have a specific casting time.

Note: you're not casting simulacrum. You're casting wish. The results of doing so duplicate the results of that spell.

Well, the wish casting time isn't varied, but I don't see why the followup spells would not have their own casting time.

I think it is important that it is not duplicating the effects, or the results, but duplicating the entire spell, which I assume is the casting time

Because you aren't casting wish+followup spell. You're casting wish.
