Yay vacation!!!

Sovereign Court

This game is a lot more fun than the one I ran in last night

What happened?

Don't foget me, the most charismatic dragon-sorcerer in the world.

Liberty's Edge

So...anyone want to play cards?

*Draws a deck of cards*

That's not a deck of many things, is it?

Sovereign Court

Alissa:Eh just an ill prepared DM. i mean you've only had a year to get ready for this

AMH: You can certainly try

Nesod/AMS: Underwater poker, now that's a cool visual

Liberty's Edge

"Nah, DOMT is out of our wealth bracket. Are we ready to kill the snapping turtle?"

"So it's just a Deck of a Few Things, with cards like the Spoon, the Hovel and the Angry Pig?"

Liberty's Edge

Fits in with my theme of mostly useless and highly situational magic, so I'm gonna say yes/

Okay... I pull three. I get the Cabbage, the Hole, and the Copper Piece. What did that bring again, JRR?

I TURN THE TURTLE.

1d20 + 27 ⇒ (8) + 27 = 35

Liberty's Edge

I prepare to hit it with my...wait...am I healed by positive or negative energy now?

Note: If negative, I can essentially heal by touching myself.

Sorry, being the daughter of a Lich, I know that is the one thing he can't do.
He should have taken cleric levels before he turned himself.
Afterwards, it was too late.

Liberty's Edge

Okeydokey.

I've DM'd few conventions.
Sometimes the DM is doing something new and is a little unsure.
Sometimes he/she only got the material a couple of days before the convention and has had no prep time.
Then there is the third type of DM: "I am DMing just to get the free/discount room and board so I can save my money."
I have met a few of the third type. They have no business being at a convention.

Sovereign Court

Alissa: This was type 3, however the rest of the weekend was great. I played in a hombrew game sunday where the bbeg was a white dragon with a beholder tumor growing from it's neck. it's breath weapon was any eyestalk power. gave me some great ideas!

Hmm. I see a new and improved farming method in your future, just imagine shifting into a plow shape and the jelly you ooze is fertilizer.

Liberty's Edge

"Making sure."

I ready my Alchemist's Fire.

Woooo. The Deck of a Few Things never disappoints... =)

Liberty's Edge

SInce it's turned, I look for (or go out of) another way out of the chamber.

Daddy, why do you keep popping in and out?

Sovereign Court

Nesod: You move into the alcove and see there is a 30' wide passageway to your right heading up.

In said passage, there is a 5' wide passage on the left side.

Alissa: I don't know what your talking about, >_> sounds like someone has daddy issues. <_<

Not to be outdone by our fair GM, I'll be at TotalCon next week Thurs-Sun. I will be...how you say? Off the grid.

I am going to be at Total Con as well with Doodlebug and Patrick Curtain Saturday the 22nd.

While he is at it he draws his gore encrusted battle axe and prepares to attack the big turtle thing. "I love turtle soup."

It's an Udead turtle Nasty. It will only give you a tummy ache.
Best to leave it alone since it won't come any closer since AM H turned it.

Sovereign Court

Nasty:Have fun and have a scotch for me

BTW your axe is quite clean by now due the alcohol/seawater mix, the zombie turtle is sitting at the bottom of the alcove hissing evilly as only a zombie turtle can.

Liberty's Edge

I WILL be playing as Nesod in PFStotal con.

Up we go!!!

Sovereign Court

As a monk?

Ok then as you ascend, the large passage is 25' long x 20' wide and leads to a large alcove that has the zombie turtles mate frolicking in the water(This was the large creature that Jenny saw as she passed the seaweed barrier).

There is also a 5' wide passage 15' up that heads downward and to the right.

JRR Tolkien wrote:
Will do, something peaty?

"Nothing upsets my tummy Alissa, I eat dead stuff all the time."

He looks at his axe and frowns that it has in his eyes lost its luster.

Liberty's Edge

How'd you guess?

I'm gonna wait till AM H shows up to turn it.

Looks like our GM is going at this early Bioware style.

The Nasty Orc wrote:

You eat "fresh dead" all the time, that is true. The "long putrified undead" will make you lose everything in your stomach.

blows smoke rings to pass the time

"No I eat other dead stuff that has been dead a while. I also eat rocks and tree bark. It doesn't always taste so good but I can eat it. I can eat anything." He pauses.

"I will show you." He starts to head over towards the undead turtle.

Sovereign Court

AMS: We've been doing alot of that lately, haven't we?

Nasty: You get the jump on the turtle.

He scoops out some of the flesh from the zombie turtle and then heads back to Alissa happily eating the flesh without any adverse affects.

"See my stomach is fine."

Sovereign Court

Nasty:You need to roll to hit

Liberty's Edge

"This is going to end well."

attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (5) + 12 = 171d12 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11

Sovereign Court

Nasty: You hit the beast with a mighty swing of your axe, once again covering it in a layer of zombieish ooze and gunk that would make Jenny proud.

The Beast turns and attacks!

Claw: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7 Pain: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

Claw: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22 Pain: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Bite: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12 Pain: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

Liberty's Edge

I'm going to advance and throw my A-Fire

Attack vs. Touch: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19 for Burn: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 5) = 7

Why do I even bother.

Have fun guys.

Sovereign Court

Nesod: Your flask hits true and it attacks!

Claw: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6 Pain: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

Claw: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14 Pain: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Bite: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7 Pain: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11

Liberty's Edge

I'm just backing up my buddy. It's a team building exercise!

Nothing penetrates my DR...

I draw ouyt my dagger.

Attack!: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22

Confirm Crit: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9

for 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

if crit add in 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Sovereign Court

Nesod: You hit the beast inflicting minor damage

It attacks again with similiar results.

Originally these creatures were supposed to be dragon turtles, but that seemed a bit harsh

Liberty's Edge

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Can I theoretically just stab it to death, given enough time?

If so, I yell to everyone "Just let me kill them!!!"

Sovereign Court

Nesod: Harumph yes you can !
